There was only ever going to be one starting point today, Boss Energy. We share our thoughts on the decision of three directors to off-load substantial amounts of their stock, before jumping into the BHP-Anglo deal as the deadline looms.
We wrapped up with further thoughts on Firefinch as the company gave a market update following their walking away from the Morila gold mine.

Definitely not good optics re Boss. If I was a shareholder (which I’m not), I’d be bloody furious.

Would love for you to get Duncan Craib on the show to explain everything. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but as you point out, red flags starting to proliferate. In interviews elsewhere, he says he's happy to talk to investors, so give him a call and let us listen in? Great work guys and girl!

In regard to BOSS Energy, I missed the CFO and the GM going and now must pay the penalty. You bastards 75% sell down is totally unreasonable.

I’m glad Duncan sold now and not later. Just imagine if he sold when the share price is double or triple from today we would be seeing 50% correction or more. I take this as an opportunity to buy more shares.

Looks like the CEO is too close to the board or the board is too close to the CEO. I have never seen an executive, let alone a CEO, dumping more than 80% of his shares at once, in a publicly traded company. It's either a sign that the SP is overvalued and the company is not going anywhere, or just plain irresponsible. I am sorry for the Boss shareholders. Let's see how they react at the next AGM. They would be well advised to fire all the directors.

Appreciate your fast reaction to the Decision of Duncan and his buddies. 1. From a CEOs point of view how do you evaluate the in and out-trading of State-Street? 2. Paradice is still holding for the big move. 3. Have a look at the stock from an Elliott-Wave-Point-of-View. 4. How do you evaluate the work of Duncan regarding the management of the Geochemistry-process? What did the guys changed in comparison to Uranium One. It will be the key-element to prove the ramp-up-process. Best Regards. Frank

State Street is just an index fund cobba - it's just a reflection of Boss' size. The larger Boss gets, more the index funds buy, in simple terms. Reverse is true as well.

Yiu guys need to do some research on Australian laws relating to management selling shares. They can not sell if they are in possession of market sensitive information like I dunno "technical issues" . Also might want to check up on the comments about the MD of honeymoon being appointed and no announcement of the previous MD leaving

What do you think about a merger between Encore and Boss? BOE Management has his chance to get rewarded and than doing a merger between both companies to put a merged stock on a broader base for institutional investors?

Maybe just a win win for State Street and the Management. Management gets reward for taking entrepreneurial risk and State Street gets a low entry opportunity.

Insiders could sell their shares for lots of reasons: 1) blackmailed by a prostitute; 2) needs a new house; 3) medical bills for the family; 4) knowing the price is going to drop and wants to pick up more shares on the cheap; 5) ...

When insider ownership drops dramatically while in any phase of the company, let alone in a critical phase of the ramp up, it is terrible optics and generally a stock, investors should avoid. If the leaders aren’t willing to keep the stock, then why should investors trust keeping the stock. Yes someone might need money for personal things but that was a lot more money than money for personal reasons.

I am in the top 20 shareholder of BOSS and I am happy to stay with that amount of shares. You may want to drill into the detail more before you hang Duncan out to dry. I like the show and I understand its difficult to be over every company but there were reason why the two guys left that you keep referring to they had specific roles that ended when production started.
@Lykzabet
@Lykzabet 2 месяца назад
Regardlesss it's the optics, Trav gave a disclaimer decoupling from a Duncan personal swipe, the board have shown their hand here going about it in what they would have known was a negative to market sentiment divestment. If you had the benefit of prior knowledge would you still have left your equity holding untouched?
@anthonyparle7342
@anthonyparle7342 2 месяца назад
@@Lykzabet I fully understand why people are pissed off, it could have been handled better. You are not alone there are some big shareholders that are selling due to the way this looks. In answer to your question I would have only sold so I could buy in at a cheaper price now. I am the largest shareholder in CXU and I look to the fundamentals of a company and don't get stressed if the share price goes up and down. My take on this issue is yes it bad.. But if I look at the gains above budget of the different parts of the process as per Duncan's notice a while back they will flow to increased through put and better bottom line. Add to the fact that they internally managed all the construction and technical in house. That skill level is unique in ISR uranium companies and can be duplicated anywhere in the world. Keep well.

@piotrturek8013 2 месяца назад
Don't you think that being in the top 20 shareholders makes you naturally a little bit biased towards seeing developments in the company in a positive light @anthonyparle7342? It's not a dig at you by any means, just normal human psychology. Everything the guys said in the podcast was factual and sensible. The optics are utterly terrible and the ramp up risk is very much there

Hi Anthony, have you had contact from Duncan at all? Think I will be emailing to see if everything is okay. I think they all previously agreed that when they got the job done and producing that they would sell there shares. They are just doing this but has scared some investors etc. I don't think anything is wrong and should be making great money at the current spot, so I think it's just another opportunity to buy and sit tight. The financials should be great next few quarters..
@anthonyparle7342
@anthonyparle7342 29 дней назад
@@denhaagtrader8781 Hi, yes I have talked to Duncan a couple of times since his share sale. Everything is great and full steam ahead. He is organizing a time for me to catch up with him and do a site visit in the near future so if there was issues he wouldn't be wanting people around. The whole uranium sector is down and BOE is getting hit really hard by the short sellers. Monday last week they dumped 4m shares on a day when the total shares traded was 5m. The uranium ride will have its ups and down but investors just need to stay focused on the long game.
