I kid you not. This is one of my favorite quads because I can literally charge 10 1s batteries and fly off my porch for 40 minutes and nobody sees or hears this quad….hahaha. Its a great starter quad for outdoors and it teaches you a very simple build. The only thing is the flight controller has an onboard Flysky or FRsky receiver and a 25mw onboard video transmitter. Both have limited range. But its good enough for me to go about 10 houses down my street to the park and back. Plus its fast and nimble. And it floats when you let off the throttle. When the put 400mw onboard vtx and Elrs receiver this quad will be more awesome.

Hi Mike! Yeah do it brother. It's so much fun. For cheap fun you can fly anywhere a 1s whoop is killer. I recommend the Happymodel Mobula7 1s ELRS version. Great range because of the 400mw onboard video transmitter and onboard Elrs receiver. For a reasonably priced radio that isnt crap and wont outgrow I recommend the Radiomaster TX12 ELRS version or the Radiomaster Zorro ELRS version or Jumper T lite ELRS or Iflight Commando ELRS. For goggles get the Skyzone Cobra X. They are great goggles that you wont outgrow and can even add an HDzero VTX so you can fly digital quads. You can keep costs down if you go analog like the previous stuff I mentioned. If you want better video then the DJI v2 goggles are nice and a FPV quad with a DJI vista unit installed in it. Stay away from the DJI FPV drone that is a ready to fly kit. They break very easy and is not a real FPV drone. Expensive to fix as well. Personally I have digital with HDzero and DJI and if you arent super picky about having crystal clear video then analog is very fun still and you can build a larger quad with a better analog cam and video transmitter for clearer picture. I still fly analog most of the time. Of course it will never be digital but like I say it's still super fun and cheaper.

Hi brother! Thanks for stopping in. Yeah this is a tiny little bugger but its fast. It only does 1s but that's all you need with this little guy. It's literally the size of my palm.

@@ksrnate Double the battery doesnt always equal more run time because of the weight. And I think that flight control board can only handle 1s. Fun little quad though.

@@KaizerTest I mean run 2 in parallel dude! Double the mah and I know the weight will reduce fly time but you'll get more for sure. I'd try it if I had one 👍🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

@@ksrnate You probably will brother. I won't be able to get out on the tarmac until next month probably. And I've realized that this RU-vid thing (for drones and RC) is more work than it's worth to me. Thus no vids in the last 6 months until now. I will probably go back to just uploading some raw RC vids with no editing like I did before.

I have a question for you. I've been in the crawler scene for years but now I want an RC car that will do 80mph +. In your experience, which method is most cost effective? Traxxas slash 4x4, tamiya tt02? Or should I just buy an arrma infraction for $650 can call it done? I see you built s slash and tt01. I was curious what ended up being the least costly for you. Thank you!

Hey! In my opinion the best all around car to go fast out of the box is the Infraction. The Tamiya and Slash are good. I love my Slash 4x4 speed run car but they need so many expensive mods to go fast that its best to just start with an Infraction. The V2 Infraction can do 95mph with the speed pinion and a really good battery out of the box.
