Hi my name is Darryl...I love RC cars and FPV race drones. Here you will see radio control cars, RC speed runs, RC bashing, FPV drones, reviews and modifications. Anything RC goes on here pretty much. Lots of FPV Whoops, toothpick drones, Traxxas and Arrma vids. I started in RC in 1978 with my first Radio Shack toy RC and from there I went to Tamiya in 1983 and Traxxas in the 1990's. In the mid 90's I had a small gas helicopter then left the hobby until about 2 years ago and then was introduced to LIPO power! I'm feeling like that 9 year old kid again in the hobby shop way back in the early 1980's. I recently got into FPV drones and this is quickly becoming my new passion. have the front end slightly lower. Open the back of the body to let air escape. Basically I cut the rear tail light area out. Also have a little toe OUT on the front to help the car track straight at speed. Really thats it. I have done 138MPH 222kph on my slash with this simple setup.
Hahaha. Thanks brother. Ya I though I'd put the old designs through some testing. I actually got this car up to like 70mph after I turned it into somewhat of a speed run car. I have a video here showing it doing a speed run.
OMG that thing is wild! I took the central driveshaft out of mine to make it rear wheel drive and then built a wheelie bar for it to stop it flipping over. I like Ghostbusters too 😂
Its a fun little drone but if you add a camera the quality won't be great and it will be too heavy. You need to look into FPV drones if you really want to make decent video's. @@KaizerTest Moblite7 tinywhoop, not sure about VTX, its 25-200mW but many people complain about bad range. I recently had decent range (100m) after soldering antenna (13 - 14mm wire) Other drone im using is geprc smart 35 analog with 600mW vtx. The range is better, I managed to fly around 500m in open space, but still gets bad when there are trees or anything between me and drone. Last time I lost vision at about 100m because of some bushes.

What spur gear/motor nount us that?? Is that a gmp mount with a xo1 motor mount fitted to the gpm spur gear mount?? Basically I'm asking is that a GMP spur gear mount for a rustler or slash?? If not what brand???
My first ever real RC car what I mean when I say real is that it was fully upgradable and you could replace every single piece of you broke any thing all I ever broke was the servo saver and two drive cups.My best mate gave me a le mans gold race motor a esc and a samsung race pack battery for my bday with all that and the double front shock kit I received on the same bday that's when my boomerang really comes alive
I have a separate 2s battery that I power the booster with. But if you are looking for a radio with really long range Radiomaster just came out with the Radiomaster MT12 radio. The one with the ELRS (ExpressLRS) protocol is a super long range protocol. That would be your best bet. Or if on a budget the Radiolink RC6GS radio
