If only every nation had around 5% to 6% of its people like her, ... just think what a huge difference it will make for the needy in this world. God bless her.
How wonderful to see such a joyfilled, happy nun and especially one helping the gypsy community. God certainly gave her a special vocation and she lives it fully!
No, not dying breed. We are many, but we keep silence and most time we are not recognised by the public. That's completely all right and rather helpful than hindering. And yes, indeed, she is beautiful from inside out. God bless you!
So pleased to come across Sr. Julia. I spent a wonderful time with her community (of the Holy Family) many years ago when they hosted a conference on Eliot's 'Four Quartets'.
@@KR-ms6km sorry - I didn't explain myself very well. She was associated with CHF and still has a profound respect for their Foundress. But, yes, she is now a diocesan hermit.

What a difference between this woman -that in fact live an ecofriendly life, with that sad girl named Greta who preach eco-apocalypse while travel in a super boat with super tech equipment.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus
Are Roma people in America? I ask because there's a lady with children that I often see begging at the malls. She heavily favors this lady sitting next to the nun. Begging as a tradition? Is it part of the traditional culture or religion?
I dont understand ... where does she live?? does she live in a empty grave or a mausoleam does she live outside I dont get it how does she eat where does she get her money to buy food soap where does she wash ? it did not take her only one min and she was yammering on about political issues like civil rights a typical nun yammering on about stuff she knows nothing about and its basically not her business .
@Todd Crain: Diocesan hermits are by cannon law (church law) committed to earn their living by their own work, without any support by the church, and of course without begging. She earns her living as a care-taker of this cemetary in Florence, so she mainly does gardening, and cleaning, and is a custodian against vandalism. Where she lives remains untold, because as a hermit she needs her privacy of life, and silence for prayer. Remaining privately is her right, as everyone´s: Hermits are no samples in zoos and museums. She is open related to her place of work. How exactly she lives, where she buys her food and soap, is no one´s elses business. - Of course she does not nessecarily have the same political convictions as her listeners. But there´s no need to put her down for having an opinion, isn´t it? You seem to know better, how the world works and what humankind needs?
wow. i love her. beautiful hermit women. i would like to marry someone like that. and I'm Muslim male. true marriage is the only human companionship we need. and true family. all other human relations are secondary or unnecessary
It has been stated. If you idolize a mere holy man like Moses, Jesus, or Muhammad and then die as an idolator you will be forbidden from entering the Garden. Man cannot be a demigod/equal unless idolized. You have been warned. Do not violate the Absolute Oneness of God. You are best advised to follow the Qur'an for perfect monotheism.
