Yes! The grounds collect in many different places inside, without the bellows. I do think using the bellows with anything other than the stock dosing cup would be VERY messy.
Rich, Thanks for this video! I too am looking at the 070s after watching the Lance video. (In addition to some other videos I've seen as well.) I'm curious how this grinder compares to your sette, in terms of flavor? (And are you still working on that follow-up video?) Also, do you have a photo of the bellows on the 70s that you can share? I'm curious about the way it looks on there. Are you liking the dosing cup you picked up? And could you link that and your hopper as well? This video seems to be the only one that I can find of a 'regular' person's experience with the grinder. So thanks again for posting it, and the tips.
Thanks, Man! I need to do a follow up; I've been slack. I had the Sette at my girlfriend's house for a while, as I got used to the 070s, so I couldn't do a side-by-side test, and now that I have both back, I'm in the middle of a bag I don't like very much, so I won't bother until I get a bag I like better. I will say, with this very dark roast I have right now, the Urbanic retains a lot more and I don't *think* I like the taste as much, but it's hard to know for sure without tasting both together. I think it will shine with a medium roast. I don't think I can share a picture on here, but on AliExpress, the bellows come up if you search for Xeoleo coffee grinder blow hopper (LOL). The dosing cup is kind of pedestrian. Holy cow. I definitely have enough to say, for another video.
@@spike443 Thanks Rich! I ended up pulling the trigger and getting the Urbanic. It's pretty good! I'm enjoying it. I don't know how it really compares to anything else, but I'm pretty happy with it at this point. Thanks again.
