One of the many pinch me moments during the Rock Meets Classic tour 2014. These two Gents kicked our asses each and every night proving that they belong to the top of the Heep;-) when it comes to legendary performers!
This became my favorite song as soon as it was released, i am now 68 and have found very little easy livin but i still love URIAH HEEP and their music!!!
Bernie good. The orchestra good, they actually look like they are enjoying playing the song. The best bit for me is seeing old fish face himself mick box going strong 50 years on, nice one fish face
I signed in just to say... I wore this record out before most of these kids in the orchestra were a glimmer in my eye. Its nice to see this music enjoyed by the young...again.
This year they played again at Rock meets classic and they still bring it. Unbelievable how well Mick and Bernie performed. Especially impressive that Bernie still sings the high notes with full energy. I love this band.
Heard this on the radio this morning while delivering news papers with my son Jude. This is fuckin' awesome. Gives me douche chills every time I hear this song.
I would had Never known their music without u, dear Brother. You taught me everything i know about music. Thank u Roby, miss u like crazy, love u always. R.I.P
I had to sign in to say 'WOW'! Saw them in Buffalo, NY in the early 70's. Whomever scripted the Orchestration to the song did an incredible job. Best orchestration I have ever heard on any rock song! KICKS proverbial ASS! Glad I clicked on it!!! (BTW - it was 'Easy Livin' in the 60's and early 70's for sure - today, not so much!)
Любимейшая группа моей молодости,когда пел ещё Байрон, к нам в Томск они приезжали в 2000-х, я по блату билеты купил, исходил на их концерт, просто суппер, на всю жизнь в памяти
40 years ago. I heard this song with GI American Soilder in Korat Thailand. And remembered Lam Morison guitar king of Thailand can sing a song and playing guitar this song excellence.
Very good band and we can sing together, A great star shining the rock and rock must play all long time. Música de primeira qualidade Uriah é perfeito.
They were every bit as good as anyone out there in the day! You are so right! They never got big mainstream recognition but to "Those of us that Rock" we were down with'em! Had "Uriah Heep" Live album as teen and dug them! The word "Dug" shows my age.
@Shaken not stirred Believe me I know what you mean ! 74 oh yes I remember , glad I was not the only that did , good to know it was not only me that did!
@Shaken not stirred Oh my goodness ,Aerosmith ("get your wings "album) I think it is the time we are talking about and if it is , well to me and i believe you would agree it was the greatest time of rock music ! Of course there were other greats but I believe we experienced rock at it's best ! The who, led zep. deep purle,, and i think you know the rest! Thanks for sharing my sentiments ! Peace
@Shaken not stirred Ah, here I thought" get your wings" was their first album ! I thought dream on was on their second album , I am also surprised at your indication of them being booed off as I believe that was a great song not to mention their obvious talent even at their early brginings ,,anyways thanks for the correction , so that i know what I am talking about next time someone asks me ! !
Love you guys. I HAVE ONLY ONE ALBUM OF YOU.UNFORTUNATELLY I LIVE IN EX YUGOSLAVIA BEFORE NOW I LIVE IN USA BUT NEVER BUY OR NEVER SEE URIAH HEEP ALIVE .BUT THE THRUE WAS I REALLY LOVE YOU GUYS.
most people 50 and under don't even know who Uriah Heep was and never heard of them. those of us who grew up in the 70's loved them.and blasted thier music through Radio Shack bookshelf speakers off 8 track tapes and younger people probably don't have a clue what an 8 track tape was. I had a 68 Nova hatchback and mounted the speakers behind the back seat.( hint...before there were cassettes) If you don't know what cassette tapes were hopefully your parents will teach you and about 60's and 70's music.I miss the 70's and the music from then. very underrated band.
