For all its flaws, I'm glad our justice system makes sure people are represented in court. And I do know that it seems unfair at times - especially since LEO and prosecutors do amazing work most of the time. Proud to know these Nye Co guys - wish we had more like them. Paz y luz

He is a little snitch bitch and keeps getting deals with our lovely DA’s office. Nye County denied 2 of 5 extended protection order violations from jail then the DA’s office dropped the charges in plea deal. And I guess video evidence of an extended protection order violation isn’t enough evidence to press charges.

It's all just starting to be more of a thing over the past two or three years and there's no help out there because it's becoming to much for the ones that do help. It's too much for them to take. She might have a bit of tummy but with all the body armor on it’s hard to tell exactly how big she is in the middle. She might be helping out patrol who knows. No one knows the situation and yes you were kinda judgy. I couldn’t do what they do I have way too many injuries and not in the best shape for that kind of job, maybe you should stand in her shoes for a week and see if you are actually capable to do her job.

True enough however you can be dirt poor and still keep a clean and organized home, no one has to live the hoarder life with garbage and trash piled all over, inside and out....often times homes like that, situations that are chaotic and frenetic in their nature often are indicative of addiction or mental health problems or both....

I get so tired of criminals saying they just want to get back to their kids!! He’s out committing crimes and to top it off he gets a break and still goes on to try and steal a car!! The cop could have & should have told Marcelo he’d get a tix for littering! & made him pick up the bag & dispose the bag right! Bad enough we have masks strewn all about as the new litter! 😒 I once tossed my cigarette butt out when a cop pulled me over for speeding to pass a vehicle towing a boat…he said if I don’t want a tix for littering I better pick it up…so I did & I didn’t get a ticket for passing the car/boat…I told him I HAD to speed up to pass both 🙄 and I have a clean record 😉

I was ready to defend her weight but...I am still going to say yea and nay. She definitely ain't winning any foot race. However, she looks pretty strong. I think she could hold her own, physically, at least long enough to "put a damper on someone's day!" So, like I started with, it's a yes and no for me. And, maybe she does love what she's doing so that's a bonus, too. All this is, of course, In my humble opinion...😊

I'm always seeing very large cops, so my question is...will large cops like the lady cop on this call ,would she be capable of " running" after someone without becoming a liability? I have seen some really large cops and I wonder how on earth can they possibly do there job when they can't run a block without keeling over out of breath and ready for a heart attack. I would think they are a liability at that point.

I thought so too. You see so many fat (yes I call it fat cause that's what it is) people in the us police force. They are not fit and also radiate an image that they are not fit at all. I hope for the partner that he never needs her help for which she has to run because then he is doomed. I would demand a fit partner to work with, It can save your live.

They have different standards for every sheriffs office,state police and city cops. But they do have certain fitness guidelines. The Court deputies at the jailhouse are actually sheriff deputies and alot of them work at the jail because they didn't pass the physical test for working the street. Next time you see a court video you'll notice most of the deputies are overweight.

Kudos to Nye county! They deal with some of the worst trailer trash people, and they have to chase them in the dirt. I could never live in the desert with all that dirt flying around. Whenever I watch these, they seem to be retreads. Same people different day. That would be incredibly frustrating if I was an officer.

Eh I beg to differ...it's just more outwardly obvious .... Im in recovery off and on for 20 years on for now thank God. Im good friends with a girl that was bagging oxys between her toes to hide it and got caught up on a crack charge. She went to some of the best schools money can buy then subsequent several paid for out of state rehabs and government ones as well as jail multiple times...halfway houses and prison twice!! She grew up in a neighborhood with 300,000 homes. She took has been in and out of recovery for 20 years back on now just got out of jail a month ago. My point is NEVER judge someone from a microsecond of their lives. Also mental health is a very very real thing and until u have been in a paralyzed depression u could never understand
