Brought back memories...I was a crew chief on chinooks at one time but also the Sikorsky Ch-54 Skycrane. The Sikorsky was my favorite.

I never worked on CH407S but I used to live underneath their flight path in Fort Worth, TX. Every day or two, one would fly nearly right above my house!

My spouse flew Chinooks 1968 to 1971- stationed Korea 1969-1970

Had a blast some years ago when, for a magazine piece, I sat just behind the cockpit while a RCAF crew out of Petawawa flew a low- level training flight in the Ottawa River valley, including a pinnacle landing on a railway trestle.
