Fr. Kenny was the only one who had the guts to do what was right even if it looked a little extreme and he never manipulated Clem, he just needed her help because he knew no one else could or would do it. Joe really is going to try and defend Jane because Kenny was “slipping”. Jane literally put AJ’s life at risk just so she could piss off Kenny to show how “unhinged” he was and set him off. Let me tell you. If I saw my wife, child, gf and my friends die, the group that I fought so hard for, and ended up betraying me, or found one of the last things that keep me going was killed by a women who lied and never spilled the beens when I was about to kill her, then yeah I would go berserk. Kenny had every right to kill Jane and that’s why I let Jane die
Jane's plan is fucking stupid, like cmon, imagine if Kenny didnt get angry at her, what would jane say? "Oh sorry, aj isnt dead, i put him inside of a random car out in the snow just to piss Kenny off 😄"
Jane legit is the goddam worse She risks the life of a newborn to prove a point And while you dont have to like Kenny, thats fine, but what Jane did was so goddam stupid and absolutely selfish
Yeah i want to punch Biden for shilling so hard for Jane and shitting on Kenny, it’s not surprising from an incoherent dementia ridden, bald, racist old fuck for a president. This is the most angry Biden has ever made me in an AI Presidents video from every channel, of all time. If AI Biden were real i’d knock his ass out.
I bet the only reason we had her over Luke is he wouldn't try anything like what Jane did and if Kenny attacked him over nothing that would have been a point off for Kenny.
Joe is such a simp he can’t see that Kenny is the only choice because Jane was willing to put AJ in harm’s way to prove a point while Kenny never knowingly did anything that put Clem or AJ in danger, and Jane commits suicide while Kenny stays with Clem and tries to teach her to drive before his death. Kenny was always a GOAT
With how heated Donald and Joe got in the Kenny vs Jane argument (Kenny's better btw) I can't wait to see them discuss about Louis vs Violet or even David vs Kate thats gonna be so fun :)
"these are all jokes for entertainment so please don't get upset. I do not endorse any of the opinions or words of anything said in this video. Except for the stuff about Arvo." lawl
Found myself agreeing with Donald the most this video. Kenny's my favorite character in the series and he carries the entire season for me, but season 1 is still the peak
Watching this reminded me about how weird Season 2 is as a whole. Even though episodes 1 and 2 have some strange moments like trusting a literal child to fix a wind turbine, I still find those episodes very well done and even though after episode 3 the quality gets really shaky and you can feel the rewrites I still enjoyed Season 2 as a whole despite the pitfalls. Season 2 felt the most like a continuation of the first season and I felt like ANF and TFS always felt pretty disconnected in comparison like there was a hard line separating the pair of games. Looking forward to ANF rankings I imagine it will probably be the most entertaining of these videos! lol
Agreed, though I think the switch in graphics plays a part in that. Telltale in 2016 felt very amaeturish, lots of talent leaving and brain drain with lots of new hires made the atmosphere of the games feel really odd, especially playing them on after another.
29:36 funny thing is, if you go to mike and bonnie first in ep4 you can interact with him and Luke later, Luke says something along the lines of mike is trying to get respect before he can be trusted, yet mike immediately changes character in ep5 for no reason other than lazy writing.
Hey man! I know I'm about 9 months late, but I hope that you come back and finish this tier list and just make even more videos! Hope you're doing alright!
Pete is the goat, I’d love to see a rewritten season 2 where different characters live longer and other die early… I hope you are doing okay and are still planning on Doing the iceberg video ❤
It gets bigger everytime I return to it. I always find something new or remember some ancient thing from years ago. Still working on it, scope just got a bit bigger.
@@InColdBloodTTG that’s good, I love BIG icebergs, those 10 minute videos that pretend to be iceberg videos annoy me when there are hour or longer videos that people put so much time into, and the they get 1/2 the views (not always tho). Me and I hope most people would rather have it come out later rather then sooner dude. Good luck and take your time 👌🤝
@@InColdBloodTTGthis is so exciting to hear man. I just posted a mini iceberg on reddit, and credited you a few times as one of my sources. I am so ready for some new content. One of my favorite youtubers.
So, quick fact for Eps 5: The end was gonna be completely different. Apparently, there was gonna be a choice of Clementine wither dying with AJ in her arms of hypothermia or leaving AJ behind. Kenny was also gonna fight Luje instead of Jane
Episode 1 of S2 gave me the vibe that they were trying to do what Kirkman did with Carl in the comics, and try to make it seem like she has mass psychological issues after all she's been through. Don't forget that Clementine was only 8 when the apocalypse started. Pete saying "You guys aren't even half as tough as this little girl" wasn't spoken towards her physical strength, but her mental strength. Any other kid would have become a blubbering mess and totally shut down. In fact, we even saw that with Sarah. Clementine becoming a, for lack of better phrasing, cold hard bitch by S3 makes total sense story-wise because she has been through so much more than most people. She had to learn to raise herself because all of her parental figures kept dying, and she did everything she could to make sure the same thing didn't happen to AJ. She has every excuse in the books to be an utter mess but she's not, and I like that about her. She's a more believable person than so many other video game characters today.
It really should’ve been Luke in the final confrontation with Kenny instead of Jane because (for me personally) they made her too unlikable for me to care. The reason why Kenny works is because we get to see his downfall through the eyes of Lee and Clementine and Luke would have made a good parallel with the cabin crew and Kenny‘s family, constants and variables. The most we get from Jane is how she talks about how much she bullied her sister which doesn’t exactly put her in a good light and no offence to her voice actress but she was a Gabe level whiner so by the time I got to that Episode 5 choice it was obvious.
Not the biggest fan of Jane personally but I thought her voice actor was great. She leaked that Jane was going to be in Episode 5 before it came out in an interview lmao, bless her.
Yeah and I don't know why they didnt just her Molly, makes me think they planned on it but made Jane instead. Lone wolf all survival Blonde with dead sister etc
@@KameroonEmperor It's very unlikely that Jane's role was gonna be fulfilled by Molly when you consider how much the S2 writers wanted to push the "new friends vs old friends" theme. Both Kenny and Molly returning woulda just been overboard imo. There's also the fact that based on your choices Molly can get shot by Lee and presumed dead, but then again Kenny surviving is pretty out there as well.
@@MrR3e Very true I din't even know you could kill molly. But yeah your right, developpement was messy but its all the more proof that they at least considered Molly"s come back at some point, it's obvious to me when you look at how similar they are in the way they look act and their story. Same thing with Christa & Omid and Alvin & AJ"s mother. Given there was like 7 different scripts for this season so it wouldn't be shocking if they orininally wanted a different theme than "new friends vs old friends". Though I'm not sure making Jane Molly wouldve made much impact on the story since she wasnt mcuh present in S1 anyway, compared to Kenny and Christa that is
Honestly, can I just say that I love how detailed they go into analyzing each episode, while still having consistent personalities and interpretaions/opinions that reflect them? It feels surprisingly refreshing and even sophisticated in a way! I really hope a US Presidents Rank Season Three will happen some day!
I’m so happy you did this, the last one was genuinely funny and had good discussion “between the presidents” as well,it’s just pure comedy so great job with the script. I hope you do it for the other seasons and the wolf among us(1 and 2) but I understand if this is just something for fun and not a series type of videos. Your review content are just really well thought out anyway glad to see a new video from you.
While I like Wolf and think that it could make for a cool video of this kind I don't want to overload the audience with these types of videos too much. I might do something in the future before Wolf releases (if it ever does). Thanks for the support!
I dont know if you're reading this, but i would love if you came back and made more videos about cut content! I know you've pretty much done everything with twd/twau, i love watching cut content as a whole so if you covered anything i would watch it. Hope you're well.
Joe: Sarah was a really cutie though, nice hair Donald: This guy’s creepier than Troy ever was The silence in between was definitely icing on the cake 😂😂
"Stupid courtroom drama BS don't worry about it. Are we still doing this?" "I really need to find a new HOBBY and new people to hang out with" Lmao just the absurdity of them not having better things to do. At least Donald has his priorities straight hurrying back from the court to do a tier list. Looking forward to the next one. The ANF tier list should be VERY interesting...
I think they probably would have but they wanted the 'sister' connection with Clementine. Molly's backstory had already been fleshed out in S1E4 so they couldn't reuse her but for all intents and purposes they kinda are the same character.
@@InColdBloodTTGthe best possible way season 2 could be handled is if they had the random russians replaced with the 400 days crew so you actually felt sympathetic for them because you knew them and what they've been through. And then they have the final choice be Jane, Kenny, or Luke depending on your choices.
I really loved this episode man, so fricking funny and I was laughing my butt off. I definitely feel that the final episode would’ve been better with Luke instead of Jane.
Damn, if these guys have such a liking for The Walking Dead, hopefully with their billions and billions of dollars they can help fund a remake of an ideal version of season 2, with all the original ideas lmao (as you can see I still haven't gotten over season 2's tragic development even after 10 years)
As much as I like Season 2, it had a lot of problems. There was a lot of wasted potential, the writing was pretty convoluted in areas, and it really felt like the choices didn’t matter in the end. I also agree with both Trump and Biden when it comes to Kenny. I think he made up a lot of the emotional factor in season 2, and it probably wouldn’t have been the same if he had died in season 1. However, Biden pretty much hit the nail on the head “It’s make or break with Kenny and it feels like punishment to do anything smart because he always does the opposite.” I cannot wait for the season 3 tier list , especially seeing Trumps reaction to Kenny dying 🤣
It took me 2 months to register "Brief period? Wasn't that season 3?" If you've ever played season 3 from start to finish, you'll know what George was talking about😂
The four goblins inside my head had very similar conversations thinking about telltale’s walking dead back in the day. Looking forward to these goobers ranking the New Frontier episodes. B)
''Kenny did nothing wrong, Jane LIED about k1ll1ng a baby ON PURPOSE to set Kenny off! What kind of s1ck fuck does that?! How messed up in the head do you have to be to try and manipulate someone that way?!'' ''Oh, you want to talk about manipulating? All Kenny has done this entire season is manipulate Clem. He constantly plays to her emotions and gets upset at her when she goes against anything he doesn't like. Jane never lied about anything, she was making a point to prove how unhinged Kenny had become. She never spoke a word, she just didn't answer his question. Kenny had finally lost it and this was Jane's last ditch effort to show that!" ''Nice argument, unfortunately...'' **my Clementine who watched Jane die and then blew a hole in Kenny's skull afterwards**
It's almost a great ending for a tiny majority of people who hate both characters (I'm also a proud member of the "f them both" club), but I just hate how broken Clementine is in this ending. I hate seeing her in such a dark place (and also losing a finger in the next season), so I tend to pick the Wellington ending more often than this one.
You must be the most dedicated Telltale fan ever. You and Dan Poogs come to mind when I think about the Telltale fandom. I don’t know if it’s nostalgia, but when I think about Telltale games I feel…comfy in a way. Thank you for reminding me of the good ol days.
I've never played the walking dead games, I've only got my info on the first two seasons from GCN's EWW series. To be honest I'm torn between siding with Biden and Trump regarding Kenny and Jane. Great video, can't wait to see more.
I love your content man. Exceptional stuff. You always find a way to convey genuine criticism and analysis in a very entertaining way. This video is a perfect example of that. Keep it up.
OMG the mention of the lunch chose brought back a memory i had completely forgotten about, i really did seat there pulling my hair out trying to decide who to sit with legendary gaming moment
I do! Everytime I go back to it, it's got bigger and bigger so I might get rid of the more common stuff/things i've covered on the channel and focus on the more obscure things I think not many people have noticed/talked about.
3:54 that introduces a new plot hole though. Why would they think Carver would even do that? Aside from bonnie he hasn't shown or said to do this or even been implied to. So even if it lead to a cool sequence that doesn't distract from the fact that it was forced and made a lot of people not like the cabin group because it made them look like morons.
in my personal opinion episode 3 of this season was the best, idk i just think Episode 3s ending is so crazy intense and the carver villain is badass and crazy, I just love what happens in this episode. Your right about episode 4 but i would rank episode 4 at C not F
@InColdBloodTTG it's so action packed brother, you've got the death of Reggie, Alvin, Carver, Troy, Carlos, the Kenny beatdown scene and him arising. Carver's satisfying end with the crowbar and then a lil no-way-out teaser to end it and keep you hooked with Sarita's arm.
This is the most random shit I’ve ever seen yet I have been hyped for this for 3 months, checking back all the time to see if this was out yet and this time I was. Great job with the editing, totally worth the wait! Really well written too, you’re funny as fuck! Never would’ve picked that from your old vids. Kenny also lives rent free in my head and I’m fine with it.
He did things that I wouldn't agree with, but I get what Kenny's ia about But at the end of the day, he is by no means a bad dude, he's a protective man, a former father and husband who cared about the group and AJ and Clem
A part of me really wanted to see more of nate. he reminds me a lot of merle dixon. While I don’t think he would have worked well in Clementine story but I do think he would have work well in javi’s. 1:38
I kinda wish Luke was the main character. Clementine being the main character made certain situations just feel wrong, such as the turbine and the radio.
Sooo, what are your thoughts on The Expanse? I thought the first episode was a very big leap forward in engine and technology at Telltale, the story felt a bit…meh, but after playing the second episode it seems that its picking up. I do hope that The Wolf Among Us 2 features longer episodes, and hubs to chill with the characters. We will see.
I haven't played it yet, unlikely to until it finishes up. It does seem to be quite focused with a clear vision from start to finish so that's already a huge plus. Wolf 2 I still have high hopes for but still cautious as it's Deck Nine that's making Expanse (who already have established history making episodic games) vs AdHoc who are the same very talented people who made the first Wolf but we've yet to see a single game from them. I'm kind of worried because it's been delayed so many times and we've still yet to see any gameplay but I'm not going to be cynical until we've seen something concrete.
imagine during the season three teir list bill Clinton shows up out of nowhere to Biden, trump,Obama, and bushes surprise and bill is praising the ever loving hell out of season 3.
Tempted to do that but that's kind of George's role. George is always playing angel's advocate and looking on the brightside... but even he can't defend Amid the Ruins lol.
Just a suggestion but maybe you could make some videos about telltales point and click games. I've always wondered what content was cut from those games. Id also be interested in games like telltale batman or Michonne
Honestly i dont think incoldblood would post anything other because theres only so many videos about twdg series considering that there isnt many games and skybound ended the series and the fact that he already touched base with the cut content idk if even will post anything relevant abt twdg sadly
