Sebring, where it truly ain't over until it's over. spenardsimulation.com/ Follow me like a stalker! (please dont actually stalk me... duh) / emptybox_007
There is something super "on brand" about a video of you racing at Sebring. I've probably watched more laps of you doing Sebring over the years than actual racing at the track.
@@TacticalCardboard Used to not like the place at all but as sometimes happens - an endurance races forces you to put enough laps in to finally figure the place out. In our split, my team finished P2 in GT3 at the 12 hours and suddenly I'm a Sebring fan!
Feels bad when you call yourself slow boys meanwhile your average lap was bettter than the best qualy lap I managed this week. And I've done 10 races here this week. A long way to go and improve.
What a finish!! :DD Great move! I feel you on the brake bias mapping - exact same issue here lol ^^ Been using the same setup for years - still can't remember which is + which is -
I havent played iRacing in years, is the McLaren gt3 still in it? I used to love that thing, watching the flames throw out the back end. edit: Lol love the socks, green for go red for stop
great pass. I just got in to this iracing stuff and was pissed that i wasnt winning - then I actually got to lead half a race and it wasnt as fun as battling for say 10th place. Ive had my most intense moments, bumper to bumper, clean driving and dueling type driving happen to me back in 6th-12th place.
Hi Empty box, great to see you in a Gt4. You are faster than me but I think you are not trying hard enough! When you noticed a car coming up behind you you knuckled down and passed the car ahead within a few corners. I used to think that i was consistent but then I realised that nailing the first part of the lap and then taking it easy for the rest or if I messed up sector 1, then making up time the rest of the lap isn't consistency either. Just a thought.
I haven't tried the cayman but the bmw is very weird under braking, no matter what brake-bias I set, as soon as I turn in the rear just wants to come around, the 570s feels more natural but doesn't rotate on throttle which is something I like
I will never understand why people don't tow. This ain't Le Mans. There's been times in Skippy where I've towed and the other guy limped back and I beat him out of the pits.
The "ranked too well for the own liking" isn't such an iracing special problem after all I think, looking at every gentleman driver who ever ran the risk of being stepped up to silver or gold fia rating
No, basically nothing at all happened that race from my perspective. Really was just a test race to see how the track surface changes worked. Plus I forgot the "new" cup car is an abomination. lol
@@TacticalCardboard figures that I finally get into a race with the guy who solely got me into iracing...and I had a good run all around you and the video doesn’t post 😐 haha. Anyway, thanks for getting me into this with all you videos!
@@TacticalCardboard Great!!! I am about to by one and I don't know if I should invest in the Ultimate model or go with the Pro.. Witch one did you get and do yo recommend the Ultimate?
Probably never honestly. Haven't heard of one being in the works, and not sure iRacing would bother given another TCR is going to end up being quite similar to the Audi.
I bought the BMW just to race this series, turns out they changed the cars before the build and they ruined it. The car oversteers like hell. Wish i could refund.
Well, if you‘re fast you get slaughtered from pole/top 3 within lap 1 - almost every time. Mainly with dive bombers (I always say: A good racer overtakes OUT of the corner, a bad one, INTO the corner). Made me being more active in leagues than in official races. The race discipline is miles better, and everyone much more chilled.
