Just lost 13 soldiers in Kabul today...the anger I feel for those unnecessary deaths is palpable....it didn't need to happen, our leaders failed us in every way possible and as usual, tied the hands of the greatest military force this planet has ever experienced!!! I was able to push the anger aside for a brief moment and get lost in this absolutely mind blowing rendition of amazing grace!! I cried a little. This was so beautiful. I want to thank and bless every single soldier in that room. For the song and everything you have to see, do, the times you're in a very uncomfortable spot long periods of time, for having to carry heavy ass bags on your back, your pain and being away from your families.... I heard from a Vietnam war veteran that there is no atheist during war. Everyone believes in some higher being during times of trouble. From his experience during the war, every soldier believed in God and was praying.

I've been praying for my soldier ever since we met. I miss him so much. Been praying for many more in addition. The military has had a strong impact in my family. My brother is also in the Army as well as my bf. My dad is a retired marine corps vet
