My big brother died while serving the Swedish forces in kosovo and I dont really have much of a life left now he is gone, im going to serve the army aswell. Salute to every allied soldier out there.
@TumurMgl its called surpressing fire.Btw over 400 metres away your cant here gun fire.So the only way to tell were the insurgants are is listen for bullet breaking the sound barrier over your head or muzle flashes and smoke
@WRH90059 I never said a mile is 1000 meters. The mountains may have something to do with sound travel, but I can hear black powder rifles go off all around my property.
@Manhattanimage Taliban tactics frequently consist of firing a few rounds and then retreating. US forces send in AH-64s whenever possible, with their speed firepower and enhanced imagery(FLIR) they usually slaughter the retreating rebels.
@TheMango121 A mile isnt 1000 meters its 0.6 miles. The nz military uses the Steyr Aug F88 and you can bearly hear it from 400 meters out.An ak sound and m4 sound could travel upto about 500-600 meters. Most guns sounds cant travel over 700 or 800 metres.Unless fired from moutain tops were sound can travel easily.
@screwtrix Gracias Me gustaría que hubiera más gente como usted para apoyar la trroops (thank you i wish there were more people like you to support the trroops )
@yamikiAbramovic lol actually the further away the bullet goes the slower it get and eventually starts to drop and change direction from wind causing amazing speed reduction. Why do you think at around 100 to 380 metres most shoot are through and through. At 450 or 600 meteres away its only about 2 or 3 inches in you.Unless a big ass .50 was used xD
@y512516 Have you ever been in a live firefight? As long as their heads are down from cover fire, binoculars are used to sight the enemy, and call in the whirlybirds. THATS HOW ITS DONE.
@malaymercernary the difference is that in Nam, we were scared something might happen if they turned communist and possibly become a threat. In Afghanistan, Bin Laden is hiding and has already attacked a America and proven himself a threat. That's why we're over there. That's the main difference. Also, compare Vietnam casualty counts to Afghanistan casualty counts, they're not even close.
@ktanner11 dude anyone in the military is a boss, my brother went overseas for two years in the marines, and he always makes fun of people who think they are "cool" in bars and stuff. But if they piss him off he drops them like a rock.
@ktanner11 I Love You. Thankyou So much, remeber for those people who say THOSE things, there are only a few of them, for the rest of us, we Love you so much, and literally think about you and your brothers everyday.
@ktanner11 In the two plus years i have uploaded videos to youtube, i have over 5 million total views and thousands and thousands of comments, this however might be one of the smartest comment of them all. Thanks for your service. :)
Amen brother These people don;'t even know a goddamn thing about we go through over there. They think it's all lolly pops ,and rainbows . I seen my best friends blown into pieces blown into red mist. It's no joke. KILL OR BE KILLED!!! 82nd Airborne 3rd battalion C.co 2-504th PIR 2003-2007 Hooah!!
@WRH90059 Yes you can ! HAHA dude have ever hunted before? First day of rifle season * in the far away distance.... BOOM! BOOM!* Feint "booms" are heard common place. Saying you can't hear rounds going off past 400 meters is bullshit. I hear it every year. My family owns 550 acres of mountain/farming land. Our fence is almost a perfect circle. I can hear rounds going off from the other side of the property, which is almost a mile. Yes you can hear it.
