That Jermaine Jones goal is so underrated, he swerved it past everyone and Beto didn't even move cause of how crazy the ball moved, not to mention he was about 25 yards out.
@@nadjet9170 beto was on his prime back then when he was with Sevilla winning the Europa League so I don't blame the coach for putting him as the starter in that match
Yavuz Ali ile Tarih Serüveni ofcourse a country of over 350mil would have a decent football team, would be sad if there where any out of those decent enogh to form a solid team
*Yavuz Ali ile Tarih Serüveni* I wouldn't bet on them either especially because they will probably face Spain or Portugal in the next round, but they weren't as bad as it had previously been expected.
What are you waffling about? A cross aimed at no one? Varela is the one to praise, who anticipated the defender and made the most out of it. Jermaine Jones’ goal waz definitely the highlight of the game
How was it possible that Portugal tied with USA by 2-2? Portugal had legend Cristiano Ronaldo who can score and win. It was amazing from Jermaine Jones scored from far distance for USA.
@@mindhunter2278put messi with Portugal he does nothing . If Ronaldo played for Argentina they win at least 2 world cups. Argentina’s always been a great team. They won world cups before Messi was even born and they will win world cups when he’s gone . Portugal was always bad
@@AD-ur1fktf are you talking about ?? since 2019 that portugal team is a superteam (from individual players material) and i bet u dont even knew half of the argentina squad before copa america 2022 cause they were literally nobody before all of this glory.
I never felt so deflated than when I saw Ronaldo launch that beautiful swinging cross..I knew it was going in. Quick way to go from feeling like 100 to feeling like 0.
What was more deflating to me was Michael Bradley getting cute in the middle of the pitch and turning the ball over with the clock that close to expiring.
Whats worse is that goal was so preventable. Bradley gave the ball away and we decided to let ronaldo have the time and space to float one in instead of trying to close him down. It didn't matter in the end but man that hurt at that time
I would disagree with the haters about Portugal not trying. Portugal needed to win that game having lost their opener to Germany, USA played really well that day.
De Bruyne does that Every Match, for CR7 it's Legendary because how limited tecnically he is but for a genius like Kevin, it's just Another Day in the office
@@juanestebankruhsanmguel1960 Ronaldo has put in Trivela crosses that I've never seen De Bruyne pull off. Ronaldo LED the EPL in Assists in 06/07, had the most Assists for Real Madrid ever, and has the MOST ASSISTS IN UCL HISTORY. De Bruyne will never catch that record as long as he plays. You're ignorant 😂.
This really was a helluva match. Both teams went after it all night. The Yedlin sub was unthinkable at the time but he really turned that game around. It was HOT in Manaus that night too. One of the best experiences of my sport-watching life.
The goal Jermaine Jones scored was an absolute sensation, but it's really unfair that Tim Howard's amazing save in the first half wasn't included!!!!!!
@@Elpa776 I'm not wrong. The US are garbage at football and act like their youth will win trophies. The most you'll win is the Gold Cup and that's a joke of a competition that bloody Wales could win
@@Elpa776 I'm from England, so I have every right to talk, considering England are currently one of the best on the world, according to FIFA. You aren't the worst in the world bit you act as if your youth will win you troohies when the youth systems of european teams are far superior. Maximum you'll get to in 2022 is the quarters

I’m Mexican and support Mexico in international soccer, but this USA team, honestly epic team. Could have gone further in this tournament. I was supporting the USA and Mexico in this World Cup. CONCACAF Nations were stronger in this World Cup than ever tbh.
@@austinmorrow6362 nah, there's no way there was that much extra time in that 2nd half. Wouldn't have mattered if Bradley scored from 2 yards in front of goal
A memory I forever will have ingrained in my mind is being in Mexico with people I rarely or don't talk to anymore and Haven't in years, wasn't really friends with, but when jones scored we exploded in a Walmart we were at.
BOTH SIDES PLAYERS, PLAYED STAMINA FULL, PRACTICE FULL, TECHNICAL FULL, POWERFUL FULL AND STRONG GAME................. WINE ARE LOS ANOTHER THING BUT BEAUTIFUL GAME ANOTHER.......
The referee gave way to much extended time. I think he gave 5 minutes, but let them play 6. Portugal ended up scoring, really on the last play of the game to tie it up.
