Given that the USA is the only nation in the world with the ability to transport troops in vast quantities- I question how these people would even Get to America, let alone fight battles against vastly superior technology. Military budget is nothing compared to what the United States spends on welfare... An easier solution would be cutting off those on welfare who have the ability to get a job after a certain period and fixing healthcare in the United States so you can cut a large portion of government funded healthcare. Medical prices in the United States are highly inflated for the actual cost, which in my opinion goes beyond the need for capitalism(government regulated prices in healthcare would go a long way).
US has air superiority which is the most important aspect in a war. their land superiority is useless because aircraft dominate over land fighting vehicles and tanks. the US also just about matches BRICS when it comes to navy. the US would come out on top, but not easily

They wouldn't fight for each other, this comparision makes no sense. For example, Brazil is more allied of USA then Russia or China, Índia the same. Plus lots of Brazilians have actual family and friends living in the US. If the USA tanked as a regional power it would hurt Brazils and the regions economy(but same is true if China went down as well).
