Beautiful, Spectacular and deadly aircraft. But my favorite aircrafts of all time is the F-14 Tomcat, F-4 Phantom, P-51 Mustang, Supermarine Spitfire and the A-10 Warthog. What are your favorites?

Hey, awesome videos! I’ve been watching your videos for a little while now and I know you use the Sony ax53. Is a camcorder better at video than a camera of the same price point. I was thinking of either getting this camcorder or a camera w/ telephoto lens for videoing air shows/airports. What are your opinions of this camcorder for airshow? And most importantly how many battery’s and storage do you have for an airshow. Thank you so much man!

Good questions; SLRs are not very good for this type of video because you need to zoom in and out smoothly. We all have SLRs for still photos but we cannot imagine using them for any serious flying video because holding and especially twisting the lens to zoom would be super awkward. The AX53 is the best camcorder we know of for airshow videos, especially for the price point. The image stabilization can't be beat even by spending thousands more, and it has important features like a viewfinder and the right amount of zoom. We have 3 high capacity batteries per camera that last all day and then some, and a 64GB card that never fills up, but we shoot in less than max quality since it gets down sampled for youtube anyway. If you shoot at 4K max bit rate you might need more storage

@@AirshowStuffVideos thank you so much for the reply! If I am going to get the ax53 it would be for EAA. Have you had any trouble getting in or recording certain things? It says on the EAA website “Recording devices other than standard consumer smartphones. No commercial or professional recording devices.” And I was just wondering if you personally had any trouble with this rule for EAA with a camcorder? Again thank you for the very fast reply’s!

No you won't have any problems at EAA, especially with a small handheld camcorder like the AX53. EAA is very protective of their video rights but as long as you are posting it to your own social media/youtube it shouldn't be an issue at all. Happy to help! Pretty nimble, but it ain't no F-22. I sure wish they'd build the F-22C and stop mucking around. You don't think you'll need an air superiority fighter until you find out you do.

The USAF has already built and test flown a new 6th generation fighter that is supposedly far in advance of either the F-22 or F-35. No one knows what it looks like, but the air force has confirmed it exists and has been flown.
