Two pulleys on the uSAVER make for a low friction TIP that can be set/retrieved remotely. Also, this is a quick fix if you forget to pre-thread the large ring befor you make the throwline toss.
Thanks, Tom....I've been trying to figure out a better way to set my usaver....I am in possession of a Revolver, so i really like the fact that i can have multiple throw-lines set whenever...and WHEREVER......and i can roll up,clip on the revolver, and haul it up!
When u retrieve your u saver do you back it up with throw line?? Or just pull it out. I've been climbing a while but new to using friction savers. I just ordered a u saver last night an was wondering how much impact can it take over time
Tom, Im thankful for your videos. I was wondering if you could point me to a set up for tieing in to a false crotch. Sometimes I dont have a good crotch to throw my rope over and back down to me. so I realize I would have to set it myself buy climbing , but would there be something retrievable from the ground in this application as well?
