USB Type C All the Things - but Be Aware of the Charging & Data Transfer Speed 

Both USB C Drive and cables need regulation and clear speed results on the retail packaging. Otherwise it's going to be a minefield for people in the future.

The cable you listed the link to that can do both is a Thunderbolt 3 cable. Most Thunderbolt 3 cables I see are rated at 40gbps and 100w power. Some with more clear specs say 20v 5amp.

There's an Lenovo laptop on Amazon which I'm planning to purchase But in the description they mentioned "USB C 3.2 gen 1(data transfer only) Means it can't charge my phone while data transfer

As far as I know 95% of previous gen USB-C devices will only support (circuit limit) up to 65-watts (rating for most laptop chargers i.e. Lenovo/HP) despite the clamed 100 watt maximum of USB-C. I suspect this is due to that fact that the mating pins and wire (cables are usually quiet thin/cheap) in the USB-C connector/cable (the AWG standard notes the standard conductivity for the squared (mating) area of various metals/conductors) is just too small to safely/reliably handle the MAX wattage without using expensive conductors/connectors/components (i.e. low impurity silver plated copper wire, larger inductors/capacitors/new Gallium nitride Mosfets etc.. ) thus the high cost and rarity of 100 watt devices , I suspect most 100 watt USB-C Chargers will just negotiate down to 60/65-watts on the majority of Devices... I also doubt that 5% of the new USB-C PD devices will ever see it's 240 watt maximum, again due to the expensive conductors/connectors required for full power... this is similar to issues with the new 12VHPWR (Nvidia RTX 4090) connector, these connectors are all style over substance and are just too small for all but the highest quality components and manufacturer tolerances for them to work consistently at max power.
