Council of American Maritime Museums conference 2023 attendees were front row for a demonstration by an aircrew from Air Station Astoria. A rescue swimmer can be seen jumping from the Jayhawk helicopter at a height between 10 and 15 feet, swimming to a rescue dummy, attaching the harness and being hoisted safely back aboard the aircraft
