USDT and USDC are centralized stablecoins backed by the U.S.dollar, and they are the two largest players in the space based on market capitalization. These stablecoins are less volatile than native cryptocurrencies as they are pegged to national currencies, and provide traders with a store of value for their cryptocurrencies between trades.
But...is one better than the other in terms of price stability, reserves, regulation, and safety? We'll explore all of these in this video so stick around to find out!

Tether is a stablecoin for unbanked people. The rest of the competitors are created by bankers for bankers. They are the opposite of what Bitcoin is trying to achieve.

I don't think we should worry. Tether is an excellent stable coin that has proven itself in the crypto market. I see a lot of talk about what will happen in the event of bankruptcy, but I have never seen evidence that this can actually happen.

I see that a real war of stable coins is starting now. I chose USDT for myself a long time ago. Because to me Tether is a stable coin for non-bank people. The rest of the competitors are created by bankers for bankers.

Excellent analysis. Stock do not give returns in a straight line. Don't look for multi baggers. Don't track prices constantly. Get more capital to invest. Acknowledge faults and rectify. Don't buy and forget. Buy and trade and as you trade you also monitor instead. Understand what you are buying. Hedge positions and avoid over exposure. Crypto investment still remain the best. In this bear market I actually prefer this stablecoin called USD. It has a pretty high inflation right now but it's backed by a big project called the United States. It also hasn't depeg yet and your funds can always be redeemed since 1 USD = 1 USD.

We are already in the big crash, Inflation is a catastrophe. This CPI report is a colossal failure. To bring the housing market to a halt, the FED will have to pull all the stops. The unfortunate issue is that other markets are being decimated. If you want to stay green, you have to rely on a lot of diversification. Currently up 14% and being careful. Still a better deal than leaving it in a savings or checking account yielding 0-1 percent interest.

To know which which stablecoin is safer, you need to experience it during the bad times, not good times. What will happen to it when crypto prices begin to crash? This is when a crazy number of people will begin swapping cryptos for stablecoins in order to save their fiat values. Any what will happen once they swap back to cryptos or sell for fiat? Will they maintain liquidity and be able to pay you? That's when you'll be able to judge the performance of either USDC or USDT, not now.

you don't know whether it's more reliable since it's never been truly stress tested and we know for a fact that USDC is more transparent. USDT is actually dodging to reveal their accounts.
