Here are 10 Combat Tips to help improve your gameplay in Star Wars Jedi Survivor. Combat can definitely be difficult at times in Jedi Survivor and whether or not you're a dark souls veteran or a brand-new gamer, these tips will help you on your way to becoming a jedi master. I have all the stances unlocked and when switching between them there are some cool unique transitions which are pretty satisfying

@@nicholas6158 no in fallen order you could switch stance with an attack. You held square and it would do an attack that switches the stance

@@jeriah4k218 the combat is worst in this game especially when fighting large groups its clunky, and most of the skills are useless but the fan boys don't wanna see it

Jedi grandmaster difficulty is really a challenge especially while playing with the ng+ perks that make you take a ton of damage

Use the right bumper skills! Slam and lift and very powerful stun abilities and confusion is devestating once you upgrade it.

Didn’t even realise slam did damage at first but to smaller enemies it does. Lift can be pretty nice for charging up a heavy attack aswell, don’t really know many other uses for them but regardless they’re really cool abilities to use visually and its nice they were added

@@nicholas6158 i won the fight where 3 boss with lightsaber come at you with lift. I lifted the three, then jumped, sliced them up, then again. Crossguard stance do big dmg with one strike so even that one hit will be useful

@@nicholas6158 Lift allows you to force push enemies further. Slam detonates flamethrower units backpacks. Slam when upgraded also allows for a critical attack on enemies who are held in place.

The double bladed stance is my favorite and the dual wield is my second favorite.

I really don’t like the mechanics that you can launch an attack before an enemy but seam to get beaten to the punch a lot of the time. It’s very annoying and poor game mechanics. I honestly don’t have much good to say about this game. It’s still so rough months after release. I wanted to love this as much as the first game.

2 of my personal favorites, blaster is great at chipping away enemies block meter at range whilst the duel wield allows you to get in quick hits up close, great combo overall 👍

People typically say the focused sight skill is most useful in the survival tree but I say it’s the least. U can just learn to perfect dodge by not touching the left stick and timing dodge. In my opinion the skill is not needed unless u want the trophy

this 💯 all it does is waste time and force + it wont make u dodge every attack even. there are some wide attacks that it wont work on. you literally just stand there and drain your force for no reason what so ever💀 its much better to just parry and dodge so that you can actually create a window to counter attack. its really a wasted skill imo

The ability is useful but occasionally, it has helped me but I think its operation is bad and very strict. You need to be still, yes or yes, to use it, that is, you can attack, evade, block, and it allows you to use it without a problem later, as long as you don't move what limits it. its use a lot, and considering that it consumes a lot of strength I think it detracts from the ability

Does anyone know what the white painted symbols on the walls are that are scattered all over? One looks like a square cross hair, and a few others are like fingerpainted looking around the game, I haven't found any info about them anywhere. 😑

Play it on a higher difficulty. It definitely turns into more thoughtful combat.

Bring back young Cal. He was a much more capable boss fighter. Here are his most practical moves that are no longer in jedi survivor: 1.) dash slash 2.) dodge teep kick 3.) dash frontflip slash 4.) high jump lightsaber throw

I do wish the jump while blade dashing made it back in. It was badass to rush an enemy jump while doing the dash and slashing them as you flipped over them.

True the kick was awesome and dash strike was chef kiss for bosses for a quick damage.

Nice tips. Tip from me to you though; your speech pattern every sentence is exactly the same. Hard to listen to solely for that reason. Esspecially how you end a sentence on the same tone.

dude, even pulling off a parry in dark souls is easier than this disastrous piece of shit of a game. the entire game is broken including the combat system which is beyond frustrating.

@@GodWorksOut nah bro trust me. i like games with a challenge and is why i love games from From software like all the dark souls, Sekiro, bloodbourne, and even older games like Ninja Gaiden which was pretty damn hard to play.. if i put it on padawan or storymode or whatever it becomes way to easy and blow through the enemies which also sucks as well lol.

Umm the combat system and parrying is fine. For me parrying in fromsoft games is harder. Guess it's different for everyone

I agree even sekiro had better comabat/parry mechanics allowing you to parry "everything" unlike jedisurvivor with the bs red attacks the only time it feels like it worked properly was when I played as cere and I had no trouble parrying each individual thing, it's completely different with cal when single blade stance only allows you to parry 2 attacks after, I feel like if they made the game play like the way it did with cere there would be no need for the other stances, just as vader said you only need one. And cere made the single blade stance put the others to shame
