That is the intended way of clearing the red guys, only on them does the dodge counter do the extra dmg, kinda a brilliant way to get people to understand the value of dodge and dodge counters.

Bro i have been dodging and then spamming the basic attack but I can't get that attack down Am I missing something?

@@muhammadsulaiman5471 its not really rocket science. The best way I can say to learn it is go to a hologram boss and strictly only use dodge, counterattack or just parry. Mind you this is a method for practice not to actually beat it. That's what I did a few times in CBT2 and plan to do the same now later on

This is a skill based game, right? So maybe this is intended since the type of skill to perfectly dodge and counter takes practice for some.

As other have pointed out already Dodge Counter and Intro Skills do massive damage to these Elites are intentional as it is even stated by the help tutorial when you first encounter one.

maybe it's like enemy fall damage in Genshin which was also scaled to enemy health, Jean's E suck + fall damage was a HUGE deal in the early game and dropped off years later, so this might be intentional.

i don't see this as a huge problem others have mentioned it a excellent incentive to perfect doge since this type of system was not implemented in genshin, it better than posting up on a ledge and using bazhi hold basic to whittle down enemies

It’s an exaggeration. Devs couldn’t care less about a mechanic they were well aware of for overworld enemies, they one shot regardless and are available to us at any level for a reason. They got important things to worry about.

I think that's intentional. High risk, high reward. The better you are at this game, the better you will be rewarded. I'm not a big fan of the story so far, but the game world, the puzzles and the combat mechanics are fantastic in my opinion.

I just use danji mortefi and jianxi and i have no problems so far just a bear of 120lvl that one shot me jianxi with her shield😅

I can dodge the solo ones but the groups ones are tougher and the monkey are aero type and I got caught by the pull in effect of the aero attacks most attempts

I don’t think it’s a glitch. It was there in cbt2 and if I’m not mistaken I believe sweetily beat the bear the same way in cbt2 It’s a good thing you made a vid on it coz I’ve been struggling with these elites 🫡 definitely an underrated strat
