I felt that the Overdash Club event was more like an event that helped you learn the game mechanics. I'm currently playing Genshin, HSR, PGR and Wuthering
Same comrade, same. Except Genshin with NIKKE tho. NIKKE lets me scratch that Gacha itch with how f2p friendly it is. Story is pretty good too. I will do GI whenever it gets a big story update tho.
2 thing i found out: 1. most boss aoe attack are ground based, so if you are on the air, you can just ignore most ground type attack. which make air character very viable 2. many hardcore player are actually building spectral rover instead of havoc, because the tower of advesity right now have multiple enemies that are strong against havoc damage, thus make spectral rover the actual current meta for the tower
The misinformation about Lingyang being vulnerable in the air is wild. YOU CAN DODGE IN THE AIR while he is in flying state. It just you can't spam it like you are on the ground. If being in the air is trash because you are "vulnerable" then Jinhsi and Changli are trash because they incorporate some of air combo.
And this is why I always say in every gacha game. No character is trash. There are characters obviously that are better at doing things. Then other characters, but no character is truly trash.
Only problem I raelly have with these "hardcore" players, Is when they think they know everything and if anyone isnt using the "meta" build, they are kicked from the game or team for it..
One thing I would like to say is that yes I grinded the game. I’m not a full hardcore players that goes crazy with builds and stuff but I’m also not the tier below it. I’m somewhere in the middle. I’m the guy that got to union level 27 (well rn I’m 52). But I know what I’m doing. I know I’m rushing the game and I enjoyed every minute of it. But in no way am I complaining that there isn’t enough content. I’m completely fine with the echo resource being limited because I know why it’s there. I actually get pissed when these hardcore players complain and want more resources. It’s not meant to be a sprint like you said. It’s supposed to be a marathon. And I’m well aware that I sprinted but I’m not complaining what so ever that I’m bottle necked right now. Im taking a breather and playing the game more casually now since I’m caught up.
For those who are saying that hardcore players already reach the max or close to end game in a day, probably didn't even play mmo games such cowardly words saying that hardcore players ruin the game experience is just a weak player that can't even learn quickly and can't even move on Let the hardcore players play what they can, it's better for casual players to catch up because staying weak is literally a pain for their experience
i can understand this guys perspective however most of us have played dozens and dozens of gacha games, its not "being hardcore" a lot of us just have years of experience so to a casual onlooker it appears we are "rushing through the game" but that just comes with experience in these games, its not something i go out of my way to do its just that there are optimal ways to do things and that inevitably speeds up your progression in gacha games, this is industry wide, im not going to waste my time doing sub-optimal things that might be a waste of my time or resources, which have a dollar amount in gacha games since they have an in game premium currency, on the other hand i also don't go complaining about being out of content so i don't expect the devs to rush out content to please me personally, im going to finish it really fast no matter what, don't appeal to me let the updates cook.
@@ComeOnBunny its just how i enjoy games, like i said i fully understand his point and i do think if you don't enjoy that playstyle "being hardcore" can definitely ruin your experience and i highly suggest people to take things slow, you can do something efficiently while also pacing yourself these things aren't mutually exclusive.
I originally wanted this game to fail for kuro since my main complaint was why they couldn't just turn pgr into this instead but after learning about the echo system it makes sense now
I got WUWA, Snow break, Aether gazer and PGR, im in union level 43 and after i clear all of the content i play DOTA 2 and Hell divers 2 and do dailies in other games

I think... a main concern is that meta will shape to tackle the hardest content, and most (F2P) players will end up relying heavily on the same very few solutions to be able to barely handle it. To keep the market rolling and the content pushing players at bay, the devs will then have to increase the stat grind check, which will strain all players more to put in the hours and go with the few safe options that work commonly instead of making fun but risky builds, which *could* limit creativity and diversity BY A LOT. (Here's also hoping the original characters stay relevant somehow.) Well, wayyy too early to call, let KURO devs cook. They gotta do well enough to stay relevant first and we'll see where they take it.~
All games i have on my phone and still currently playing are 1. GI for the dailies so boring tho,2. ML (MOBA) decent rank just a couple matches then move to playing other game, play a bit of 3. dead cells then move to 4.WuWa(mostly coz its fun)
"Figuring out to build characters" in the casuals is even more a minority of ppl than the theory crafters and their followers. Casuals smash buttons with the few they remember of their reading or tutorials, they don't discovers builds LOL. If you do that, that means your are in the theorycrafters followers circle, because all ppl interested in those things, even if they theorycraft a little first, they go look at theory crafters for complementary informations to their understanding. "The Meta is not created, it's discovered" : totally true, meta are the rules of the game "crafted" the devs. Even if sometime some "exploits" sneak in. Switch-cancel is in that case even if all hard core gamer/theorycrafter speak about it all days since CBT2, because devs make it possible (its intended I totally sure) but don't want ppl abuse of switch cancel tech on 1/3 of skills. So they make amplifying buffs on subs dps to "nerf" that. "Meta is not the problem, its meta slaves" : totally true again. The Meta is the rules of the game play, but not a strict necessity unless you want to "score". But for me personally the Meta contain to many core mechanics and gameplay's upgrade that is impossible to ignore, its the more enjoyable for me but I'm not a meta slave, I'm not tell ppl how they "need" to play and I not putting my two foot entirely in it, because sometime (rarely but ...) my taste are out off meta. Synergy is created by devs between things and I think is underrated by many for "upgrade" the gameplay enjoyment, and ... its very often the core of the Meta. Its like in life, we need to measure the interest/enjoyment at doing a things and not only look at the "price" (in most cases its time). But its true that there is, in gacha more that in other genre, too many lazy/slackers that pull down the content. How can gacha games make so many fcking shitty events that not related to the main gameplay or even the lore ? Theirs stats said that casuals love them ? "Company's stats > social media rant". I only see this possibility, and so that mean those ppl are just satisfied to just click/tap for a few minutes a day on an uninteresting thing but entertaining (at least a little bit for them) to do the job ? If you do that for "killing" the time (the most criminal thing to do in life for me) and pull down video games for that (where there are "real" players with passion and interest for the reals qualities of the game) ... go do an other thing in your life, its a pure waste of time, you can better invest your time elsewhere ... So for "Meta players are ruining the game", who is really ruining gacha games ? Players that play majority of the time shitty events, a little bit of the main game play but not to far because leader boards, end game content to difficult (the true goal/interest of an online game), need to learn things, just 5 min/days in my life etc ... and discourage devs to do real content that is expensive where no enough ppl will play it to justified it and the "risk" that the game turn full fan service like Snowb.... ? Or people with engagement for the game that want fully enjoy it, clear the content, do their sweaty weekly challenges, optimize their gacha, and sometime test the limits of the game, and in that case ... encourage devs to do more and better content ? I'm lost when I look at the community thoughts but I like to believe that they are just a yapping minority, else company would be more concerned by social media other than making advertisement for future consumers. Be strong, the storm will pass !
As long majority of the game content is not time gated, just keep playing and even casuals can reach the end game. There will be so many even stronger resonators in the future to build than to spend too much of your resources building the current characters. Also many players are too concern when they see many others clearing the difficult contents, having very good stats from echoes they start to FOMO. As WUWA progress to make more quality of life changes, the game will be much more friendlier and less grindy for new and old players alike.
You saw it primarily during the first three days of launch You have these content creators who spent like almost 27 hours. Within the first 2 days of launch, completely obliterating through the content and that all of a sudden, you have their community's talking about. How are you able to do this in a day? I want to be able to do it too. This is exactly why I like games like final fantasy 14 more. The only gacha games I play are Wuthering Waves and I play Honkai Star Raill, that's it. And I don't have FOMO so I don't care I've been playing star rail since launch and I still haven't even gotten to penacony yet. Content creators do sometimes create that fear of missing out. And that's why it pays to try to be a part of communities in which they don't create that manta or encourage it.
Sometimes i also hear something stupid/dumb from you, that is why you should not think what you said also right. People give opinions because they think they are right. So please don't say "something stupid i ever heard from someone else". For me, it is better to understand what he/she is trying to say. Does not mean you would agree with them. I have been following you since your first PGR vid, I don't know why i keep get annoyed because of this attitude (not mature). *I don't talk about this guy in the vid and don't even know who he is. I do like the vid overall, but him agruing ghosts didnt seem like a relevant coment to make at that point when more then a negligeble amount of Hardcore people do actually say that X character is trash with no info or reason on why they think that. Leading to countless people just regurgitating the HC players words. My biggest beef with many HC players and Spreadsheet Min maxers comes from this. Someone says a setup/character is trash for example, but you run the numbers and find a less then 10% difference between the build that they were shitting on and the meta.
All players has own pace of gaming some are fast some are slow some take thier time and all listed all has pro n con none is perfect is a choice.if he said they ruin it nope not really is good to have hardcore players is good info how to boss farm etc etc for slower players.just let them do the hard work crack thier head n die hard trying while i can enjoy chilling watch em n absorb how to dodge when to parry.still a win to everyone to hardcore or casul players.
The point went over your head and you made a 30 minute video anyway. The problem isn’t people speed running it’s people speed run these games, then they complain that there is no content. Which creates a false narrative in and out of the community. Also saying “this is how gacha games always have been” is not a valid argument. The needle can always be moved. To be honest you’re a few turns away from just being toxic positive.
This guy's whole video boils down to arguing against strawmen. Are there often commenters or twitch viewers that embody those strawmen? Sure. I am hardcore.. UL 44, f2p, cleared ToA with 18 stars a week ago. maybe this cycle 21. half my chars are lv 68, the other 60.. have few okayge sets already.. I am bragging ofc but I dotn see how I am ruining anyone's game

jynxzi ugly as f. changli looks good. but compare to other games, the female designs on this game is worst than the males. you cant have hardcore gamer and casual gamer agree on things like difficulty and replayability of content in a game. its either you will loose hardcore gamers like in genshin or casual gamers like in pgr. hardcore gamers will always ask for more content while the casual gamers will always ask for more outside game time. 25:41 everyone saying his bad "everyone knows that", both design and gameplay, i wont sugarcoat that. i dont think its the hardcore gamers fault, it always comesback to the game design. because if thats how the game is created then what can we do?
