It's the scripting, the game detects which player you are in control of and slows them down, this doesn't happen in local coop tho

I noticed today smth interesting so when you are defendong or following idk enemy winger look at your CB his Ai sprinting will be faster than the winger but if you switch to him he will instatly lower his speed idk if its me but i noticed that and no i dont have analog sprint on

Dead ass. Happened to me all last night. Correa Showdown, Griezman PTG, all slower than every person on the pitch. Even my vieira seemed quicker than both of them. Matter of fact, only both wijndalum and vieira seemed to outrun everyone else on my team.

3rd and underused way is the 5 star skillers L1 or LB and RS IN knock on with the flick up. If somebody is pressuring you or coming straight on for a tackle/already pressed to tackle they are either getting a card or you are through.

I used to do this so much in Fifa 21, also when receiving the ball to feet and accelerate behind you (example on the wing) but this Fifa they removed it so it makes u do the skill where you knock the ball between your feet

Does the speed at which your player dribbles get affected by his "dribbling" and "close control" stat too? Eg. if someone has 99/99 sprint acceleration and speed, but has low dribbling (eg. 80) - surely it affects the speed at which he runs with the ball right?

Doesn't work when the scripting is against you and your players are slowed down or run out of stamina, and your opponents is made to never run out of stamina.

The input for a skill move is relative to your current viewing direction. For example for the heel to heel you have to go forward and backward with the right stick. When you run from left to right, you have to move the right stick right and left. When you run from right to left, it has to be left and right with the right stick. - TaZz
