my mother just bought a 2010 BMW 750I , it only has 13,000 miles on it so it basically brand new and flawless at the moment. What im wanting to know is if the N63 recall is still available to my mothers vehicle should something go wrong ? I can work on the car myself and already planning on combatting the issue with the heat that causes the main problems of oil consumption with wrapping the turbos and down pipes, as well as replacing the air intakes and mocking up some ducting to keep cooler air circulating to the turbo and motor. BUT again would be great to know that the CCP hasnt yet expired for my mother.
yo, doubt ull see this but id you do, hows the car been over the months? any unexpected/over the top expensive problems pop up, does it still drive the same as it did when purchased, how many miles have been put on it. Ty for your time rlly appreciate it!!! If you do see this n respond @ me please
@@pampered3126 Hey bud, not completed yet because I had to wait for a restock for bolt on downpipes . I say another 3 weeks because I have to get everything powder coated and then have the time to put everything back together. I will keep you updated, keeping a journal on what im doing.
Hi there. Kevin greeting you from El Salvador. I got my valve seal job done and now my car is slipping between gears. When I press on the gas any more than 40% it slips and jumps to next gear. Oil and filter been replaced and all transmission and eco reset done. No luck. Have you had this issue? Can it be a bad solenoid or torque converter? Mind you the transmission was perfect prior to valve seal job. Any advise will help. It’s been 2 months
I have the same car and getting a repeat P00BD code. I’ve replaced air filters, maf sensor also swapped drive said maf sensor and it came back. New map sensor and new intake duct to the turbo and it still comes back. Any ideas?
I recently changed my spark plugs and coil packs when I bought my 550i with 98k miles . Car was running great until I brought it into bmw dealership to do the auxiliary water pump recall, came back running rough and constant misfire in cylinder 5
