1)With any luck=I hope(With any luck ,I will consummate this semester successfully) 2)Weigh up-To comparise two things and think their pros and cons(I am weighing up whether to go to England or Canada for my summer holiday) 3)Make your mind up-Decide (You have been looking for a good country to move for 3 months ,make your mind up and choose one of them) 4)If all goes to plan-If plans are successful(If all goes to plan ,I will complete all levels in English after 4 months) 5)Let alone next weekend-I don't even have any idea about tomorrow ,next weekend either 6)to be torn ,to lean towards(I am torn between going out with my friends or staying at home but i am leaning towards staying at home) 7)Follow in someone's footsteps-To do the same things which someone did before(I would like to follow in your footsteps, the reason why you are a successful teacher)

I'm a new follower of yours, and I think you're the best teacher. Its very interesting to watch your lessons since your accent is very British, very expressive when you explain to your viewers and most of all the sense of British humour which naturally comes to you when you teach especially when you end the video. Thank you so much!

I found your channel a short time ago and it's amazing, your work. You make the explanation so easy to understand. When I learned English, it's with an American accent so is kinda hard for me to change it for British, with your tips I think I can make it. Gonna need some VIP classes too. Thank you :)

I honestly love your lessons Eliot! and I think you have a very natural approach to teaching, that makes it easier for us to learn :) so thank you for that. I would really appreciate you making more videos on how to juggle between slow and fast speaking, like you just did in this video. I've noticed that you (and other British people) slow down your speech when you say something important, and then sometimes speak really fast, with the mouth at a quite closed position, to allow yourself getting as many words as possible in a short time. Now, as much as I'm aware of that, it still doesn't come naturally to me and I always try to pronounce everything so properly, and almost never changing the speed. that is just not 100% there yet. would be great if you could address that in your next videos
