Btw, fun fact: if you beat up an enemy until their sprite changes, your ACTs will change clover's action and the enemy's reaction will be different, luckily you can still spare them since the "beat up until theyre nearly dead to spare" technique from the og ut is in uty
I think the rubber bullets are meant to show how what humans think are harmless are harmful to others, similar to how it’s said that monsters use magic as a form of hello, and don’t know that what they’re doing is harming you
Essentially, even if clover shoots what's essentially a nerf gun, the very act of wanting to hurt someone makes monsters take dmg for real. And of course once he gets ammo/wild revolver that does actual physical damage, that contributes aswell
@@daridon2483 Afterall, monsters become more vulnerable to attack by humans, if the human targeting them has enough intent to kill them. This may be the lore reason why the "harmless ammo" actually can fatally harm a monster. regular Undertale references this somewhere in it. Unfortunately, it's been so long since I last played Undertale (which was when I got the pacifist ending in it. Refusing to Reset because Flowey told me not to, so Frisk gets to be happy) that I don't remember where this bit of lore of humans to monsters confrontation is mentioned.
I'm assuming genocide up to killing Dalv, since you can't return to the ruins once you leave, and since there's no UGPS fast travel you can't go back to snowdin either.
0:11 in the neutral route, flowey (VERY secretly) gives you the missing poster back at the end of steamworks so you can focus on your goal so asgore can kill you and flowey can take all the souls, great video and i hope this helps if you do another part also im not sure if this happens on other routes and i find very funny that flowey gives you the poster on a place where flowey shouldn't be (a bridge WITH HOLES)
@@cumcer6140 yeah its very hard to notice because flowey appears for like a second and goes back to the ground, i just noticed after watching a video about that
@@thepunkkingkingofthederps7686 yes! there is, though i dont know how you can find it, i think you can see flowey hiding when you pass trough some kind of pillar in the neutral route some rooms before axis fight in the bridge, so you could search a neutral route playtrough though, its very hard to see
Fun facts 1. Dalv like rorrim has a hidden backwards name "vlad" a common backwards name for vampires 2. Clover is named clover because in the justice section of omega floweys fight, clovers shoots bullets but with acting he shoots healing clovers 3. Red one of the first fangame fights appears in this game at cerobas hometown.
I found another one with Dalv: If you attack him, then stop, he will mention this, and will be thinking that you actually a phantom, and then you will not be able to spare him, basically locking you on a neutral route (you literally can't spare him anymore, battle ends only if he's gonna be killed)
@@SentientIrisu Secret "enemy" encounter. It I think relies on a convoluted series of steps of obtaining specific 1 time only consumables but refusing to use them up to somewhere in the Steamworks, where they are offered up in some way, which I think opens the way to the micro Froggit joke battle. This game has plenty of obscure secrets you are very likely to miss when playing the game normally
If I were in your place, when I was being chased by Shelly, one of them would shoot at me at any moment, this projectile would fly between the walls at 00000.1 centimeters without hitting any, and then it would hit me right in the little finger, but it would still give a lot of damage, for me to die. And also to make sure that something goes wrong with me.
Also, did you know that if u get an encounter with both know cone and frostermit in it, when frostermit presence gets revealed, know cone will say "KNOW CONE KNEW THERE WAS SOMEONE THERE!" which literally fits in for his name
why is everything for me leading back to undertale 2 for the love of god please stop (the thing that reminded me of that shitpost of a game was dust bunny)
none of these "facts" are actually facts. they're just basic assertations about the game. something like micro froggit having the only coloured spare is a fact, but dalv being the victim of the snowdin attacks isn't. yes, it's very likely and implied that he was, but it's not stated anywhere so it's not a fact. neither is simply pointing out obvious puns in flavour text. a fact would be something like: did you know that if you do genocide in ruins but spare dalv, you can go back and fight decibat due to a bug in the code?
