Empathetic is not the same as empathic in this context. Empathetic means you can relate to what someone else is going through. Empathic in a psychic sense, means you feel exactly what they feel. Think Phoebe from charmed ;). Also, someone saying something can give you an idea of what they mean but can never reveal to you the totality of. Two people can say "I love cats." For one person, that might mean they own a couple, maybe watch cat videos here and there, and just enjoy them. For another person that might mean they've devoted their entire lives to cat rescue, shelter and rehabilitation. You would have no clue where they fall on that scale by those words alone. Side note: You said that you've said all you can say on this topic like 3 posts ago, then you say you're "one of the most stubbornest people you know" (2 posts later) and then end saying that you've moved on. You can see how this might be a little contradictory.

There's a beautiful part to this result that I've noticed everyone overlooking: Last year, at CEO 2014, Smug lost to Momochi in a very close match. One where he actually forced Momo to switch away from Ken to Juri just to get by. Now, one year later, we're granted another close match with a completely different outcome. I mean, the 5 - 4 victory that Smug scored over Momochi during Topanga League this year is nothing to look past either, but this was the "destined runback of all runbacks." Or something like that...
Smug on a rampage, I didn't think it wss possible for him to level up any more than what he did after Topanga but his dominance and composure is outstanding. Let's go DUFF CITY!

Err no. Smug and Momochi have played 3 times in tournament CEO 2014- Momochi won (had to switch to juri) Topanga world league- smug won 5-4 CEO 2015- smug won (as you just saw) It's not like Momochi doesn't know how to play smug, every match they've had has been super close.
There are upsets and there are expectations. An expectation is that the player most likely to win is the victor. An upset is the underdog is victorious over the player most likely to win.

jk844100 Momochi already qualified. And I'm not surprised how he's being viewed as the legit threat everyone wants to zero in and how some American players have effectively flustered his Ken (Strider from NCR 2015). And plus Smug probably is adjusting very well against Momochi.
The commentary sucks. Just call it straight up, get hype when something exciting happens, and don’t show favoritism. When it’s 2 great players that’s all you need.
