Because of its history, most think of Rolls Royces as cars that are owned by rich and powerful people and almost exclusively chauffeur-driven. While part of that may be true, the brand is now younger and more diverse with different models suited for different people. Many owners in places like the US or Europe use the cars themselves without having a driver.
Today, we find out whether the new Rolls Royce Ghost, meant to compete with more conventional luxury cars like the BMW 7 series, Mercedes Benz S Class, and Bentley Flying Spur, can be used as my family car for the weekend, with me behind the wheels! We have a big day planned for it, with mountain roads, city driving, highways and even a bit of off roading! Let's see how the car performs!
