@@ChristmanGarage yupe learned the hard way. Tons of spin outs, and generally poor handling when go quick to kept pace. Low and slow was the only way I finished any laps without problems.

Is it possible to check castor by laser? I mean production line, not garage.

The most crucial part wasn’t explained. How do you know when you’ve turned the wheel EXACTLY 20 degrees? According to the equation, the amount isn’t as crucial as it being accurate and it’s better if it’s symmetrical, the exact same degrees left and right on each side of the vehicle. Theoretically you take the difference in camber measurements from each direction, and multiply by 1.5. 20 degrees is the suggested amount, because it needs to show the greater difference in camber on each direction of wheel placement for the best accuracy, but if you turn the wheels full lock, in accuracies in the overall steering and suspension linkage outweighs the need to turn them that far. The reason that the angle is crucial is because even ONE DEGREE of error makes the results useless. If you turn the wheels 20.5 degrees to the left and 19 degrees to the right, the results will be so inaccurate that it could lead you towards an adjustment that could then lead you down a rabbit hole of chasing the cause of the problem, maybe even replacing expensive parts unnecessarily, when the whole time yo just need an accurate enough angle finder which doesn’t seem to be so easy. Lots of people have claimed great results, and those floor plates with a compass built in are probably the best way, but even that has problems. Variances in the plate’s resistance to turning combined with variances in how the wheel sets in the turned tire versus the straight ahead tire can make even that tool useless. There needs to be a wheel mounted laser which can shoot at a gauge places on the ground maybe even projected onto the ground. Oh. Delete this.
