Hi joseph thank you so much for making this video. I am going through bad hand tenosynovitis in both my hands (especially in the area that connected my thumb and index finger). I am looking to invest in a wacom tablet to use as a mouse as using a regular mouse just does not do it for me and makes the injury come back. Someone on reddit suggested me to get a Wacom Intuos Pro PTH-660 and Use OpenTabletDriver by modifying the DualActionBinds plugin to work with different pressures instead of press/release. I was wondering if you can give it a try and make a video on it maybe? The thing is i do not want to ideally press any buttons on the pen and would like to just use my cursor, do left /right clicks and do select all via the tablet pen. Please also tell me if you can what pen i should get as the lightest pen in weight will probably be the easiest for me to use. In your video you said some pens have buttons that are harder to press than others so if i do have to use the button i would like a light/ easy press as well to put the least amount of force on my joints. I can tell you are suffering from hand issues as well due to work so i feel for you hoping you recover from this soon thanks
I tried DualActionBinds I don't see that feature. Well you can set it, but it does not let you set any pressure its just on or off. You'd need to use the tip threshold, which is in-dependent. It also only seems to work with keys, not specific to mouse clicking. I dont think the Wacom Intuos Pro M is worth the money if you are just going to use it with open tablet driver. Its multi-touch with features to scroll, tap, zoom, etc.
@@joseph-montanez thanks joseph i appreciate you i think i will just use the pen to move the cursor and use foot pedals for left and right click, i can use one button on pen for select in bulk/drag feature (just can't do it too often or it will Trigger RSI). I also have issues in my thumb joint as well it's the weakest part of both my hands and because of that I was doing research on what kind of keyboard would suit me it seems like everyone is going for glove 80 but I need something that is super flat like voyager or two apple magic keyboards (as they don't have split), will be using a foot pedal for the space function though
