Whilst yes, you can use a table saw to resaw timber and I have cut thousands of them in my time, for cabinet center panels. This is also very dangerous and only the fool hardy would choose this method.
@@CharlieMikeWoodworks I had a band saw, but still preferred to resaw. At least make yourself a jig, to save your fingers. I had a bad accident on a panel saw, back in 2000, I had just got back off holiday and spent a lot of time in the water. My hands were soft, every time I picked up a piece of wood, I ended up with a splinter. So stupidly decided to wear gloves. Saw blade caught the gloves and pulled my fingers into the saw blade. 50+ stitches, temporary pins through the tips of two fingers, skin and bone grafts. Eight weeks off work, six weeks of physiotherapy. I was lucky to keep them. Don't risk it, take my advice mate. You only have to be unlucky once!
