9:37 or just get smaller sub and extend the pipe :D i can hear that the pipe is too short and the "box" isn't big enough for this big sub. i would recommend 8 inch sub for this size enclosure :D edit:yeah and i would also cover the part where the water comes into the bowl when you flush it(so the hole at the highest point of the bowl). You are losing lot of spl because of that :D and also when i said extend the pipe i mean like somewhere between 1-1.5m :D
That would also enable the sub to be recessed, freeing up the seat for a passenger. Surprising the passenger with the additional functionality of the passenger seat is surely the true purpose of a gadget such as this.
A toilet for a sub enclosure. Perfect for testing the brown note as well. I'm pretty sure this is the best way to play the bass line from gopnik music.

Try 7 Could you get a motor with push rods and replace the push rods with glass ones. I had the idea after looking at the glass stir rods used in science class. They are glass shafts with glass nubs on the end.
in this case it is basically a dually tuned regular 4th order bassreflex box because the water tank's hole is a port too - it is not good because at certain frequencies the tunings cancel out each other (1 chamber but 2 different ports), or one of the ports is not acting like it should be, just like a box-leak...so, if the main port is the bottom outlet, you should seal properly the water tank's hole...or make a test: - first seal the water tank's hole, then the tuning will be given by the bottom outlet - next seal the bottom outlet, then the tuning frequency is given by the water tank's hole where the woofer's excursion is the least = the tuning frequency...it will be interesting, because the water tank's hole internally have way less "port area" than the bottom outlet, so maybe the water tank's hole will give lower tuning, howewer the bottom outlet is longer - maybe my tip is wrong - without testing is hard to tell ...and another test-part: - install the water tank without the amp, it's top too, and seal everything outside on / around the water tank, then it is a bigger net volume regular 4th order bassreflex box... or another test: - seal the bottom outlet, seal the water tank's hole = small sealed box - then mount back the water tank without the amp, mount the water tank's top, seal everything on / around the water tank too = big sealed box - then push inside the water tank's button-hole on it's top a cca 200-250 mm tube = series-tuned 6th order bassreflex (active chamber is where the speaker is installed - ported to the passive / intra chamber, then port out - this gives truly and correcly two tuning frequencies) which should sound loud at really low frequencies without reaching the woofer's Xmax on high power (maybe the "brown note" too which is 12.something Hz), just maybe the port noise will be not acceptable because of the very small port area...
This subwoofer may have worked better if the amplifier was not built into the tank. With the hole into the tank, you had two different sized bass ports. Using only the drain pipe as the port and putting the amplifier on the ground would have worked far better. In the americas, we have slightly bigger toilet bowls, and the drain pipe is usually longer and exits out the bottom, (tuned lower) so if I tried this it might work even better.

If anyone wants to know, the cone movement of subwoofers from their resting position is called "excursion". The record is said to be held at 3 inches (7.62cm) on each direction or 6 inches (15.24cm) of peak cone excursion by the "Thunder 1,000,000", though it couldn't really play music.
