I believe using a usb drive will preamp the system and if you play the music at the volume that you would for bluetooth or aux, it can blow the speakers if its loud enough. It makes it louder i think
why is everyone downvoting this guy. I never knew this was possible. This is way better than trying to put music on an iphone through stupid itunes. Thanks Uploader.
+Balance I think it is because I for one, came here looking for a fix to a problem and I didn't find it. -Grumpy face- However I remember when i first figured out I could do such a thing, so I know the level of happy you are at right now.
first plug the usb drive into your computer then look at the title of each song. if at the end of the song title it says .mp3 that means its an mp3. if you don't see any extension at the end. right click on the song and click properties and somewhere there you will see the extension. you will have to download a program to convert it to an mp3 file. there are free programs out there, you may have to google it. there is also a free online music converter, you will have to google that too.
@krazyk86cu like trunk space and backseat space in proper way. in most of the video people just go in and come out real fast. so i need some space to put two 12" subs and amp and some more space to put other stuff. i have civic right not and my subs cover all the space so when i go to wallmart or some were else i have to put all stuff on back seat and if there is people in the back seat i have to fit everything under foot and seat. u know what i m sayin. i m asian little slow at english.
You might need to try hitting category folder button on the right side and then select the different folders. My ipod gets broken up into 13 folders for some reason.
Great for setting up artists and songs, but how about playlists? I want to create playlists that may include songs from various artists and albums depending upon what I'm in the mood for at a particular time.

Thanks for your training. On my Hyundai Sonata, each time the car is restarted, the player goes back to the very first track on the USB drive. Any idea why that is happening? I checked the settings on the player, I do not see anything that would tell the system to start from the beginning. Also, other USB drives do not act like that; music/books pick up at the spot where the drive was last stopped.
Will the car system play automatically the next song after the prior song ends? I don't want to have to choose the next song in the file each time a song ends!

Ok buy a plain cd with ought any memory (they're like 5 dollars for a pack of 10). Then put it in your computer and plug in your usb. Finally download the music on a cd through you computer.
I have hundreds of songs on my usb drive,but my problem is - I want to separate them into different groups(genres) .i.e selecting Reggae on one side,Hip Hop on one side etc. Can some give me a clue?
+Aziegbemhin Collins It is totally ridiculous that these car systems only support one level of folders.. I have an Acura which is the same meaning that you cannot have genres like you mention. The car companies are the clueless ones for not supporting multiple folder levels. My 10 year old Pioneer deck supported multiple folder levels , no reason current car stereos shouldn't do the same.
+Aziegbemhin Collins for whatever reason most radios that use usb option limits the amount of folders that you can have. Try limiting it to around 8 and then check to see if it worked. That's what I had to do.
I got like 2000 songs in a flash drive and l want to play them at a bluetooth speaker,but it always started at the same point that l stopped,so that means that if l want to listen the song number 300 l have to listen or forward 299 songs so l can listen to the number 300....Can somebody tell me how to make a shutlle so l can listen to diferent song every time l turn mi speaker on....please....

im in a 95 pontiac firebird, i got a new jvc stereo in it with the usb port, i got music here on my memory stick and they all work, but if i go to my car and plug it in it will read it but it ends up saying "cannot play" what am i doing wrong?
doesnt count....that car obviously is made to be able to use usbs.....but my car I only got a ubs lighter plug....which is something I am wondering about
follow this for MPEG Layer 3 Audio: go to google and type 'convert mpeg layer 3 audio to mp3 ehow' and hit the first or second link. Sorry i couldn't insert the link in here. For the MPEG-4 File i think that is a video file and it wont play in your car. but try fixing it with the method i gave.

thank god it works for me but I'm unable to change the album's name even if i change it in the usb on the pc, whenever i connect the usb to my car radio it always comes as album 1 and album 2 and so on....but it doesn't take the name of the album i enter previously, how do i fix this
i have a usb port on my stereo but it doesn't work i put files on it but when i plug it in it just keeps saying Read file. doesn't pick up on that lol any ideas what could be wrong? there a certain file type or something?
