Using an Ozone Generator at My Cabin : How Well Did It Work? 

Good question and thanks for watching. I have decided to electrify the cabin. LED lights and running the fan on the wood stove would be a great improvement. First I will install an inverter with batteries, then solar panels to charge them. Of course the gas generator will still be at the cabin but I do like the thought of quite power. Thank you again.

Believe it or not, it smells like the air after a garden variety thunderstorm in the summer has passed over and the sun comes out. That fresh smell lasts for a bit then it kinda turns real neutral. My cabin is small and it works very well. I hope this helps.

My cabin is fairly small, it is 9 feet wide and 16 feet long. There is a second story loft and the ozone seems to do a good job on the whole building. I normally run it for 2 hours at a time and that does the trick for me. I do leave the cabin closed up to air out slowly so it takes about 8 hours to do the job. I do not have cockroachs in my area, I think we live to far north so I do not know if that will work on them, although it does a good job on other insects for sure. Good luck with your situation and i hope you have success.

I have never had trouble with food stuffs, but I dont think that ozone in thses concentrations are good for house plants. Not really sure.

I really dont know but I kind of doubt it. Ozone really gets rid of mold and mildew the best. I burn wood in my cabin and it does make it smell better but normally the wood fire smell lingers. If you could find someone with a machine that you could barrow then give it a try. I would not buy one unless you have other uses for it also. I dont think it would work for you, but i cant say for sure.

Yes a couple of hours should do it with the windows open, even in my small cabin it does not take too long to air it out. I normally clean within a two hours of stopping my ozone gen. I get lots of dead spiders. Hope that helps.

Typically speaking never open windows just let allergy air into the room. Best results shut machine off and put ceiling fan on or box fan and wait 30 minutes or so. Then it will be safe and smell like a clean fresh room.

Hi Kevin, My cabin is about 200 square feet with a loft so it is fairly tall. Almost 2 stories. Hope that helps

I dont really know, but It does kill every kind of bug at my cabin in the spring. It might work but you can't stay in the house while running the ozone generator. Pure Ozone is not good for people either. THanks for watching

I heard it kills cockroaches and bed bugs so it probably would kill fleas.

A good one is around 100 dollars. If you have a bigger place to clean then you will need a larger unit. thanks for watching
