Hi Sabrina- I’d make the folder for the holiday and the albums for the specific dates. Folder Halloween Albums 2011-10 Halloween 2012-10 Halloween Or… just add a keyword for the holiday I’m hoping this gives you a few ideas! Cheers! Mollie
It sounds like a good way to go. But how do you get started when I already have a lot of album and folders which where not done correctly, I guess I need to start over and don't know how
You can start over by eliminating the albums and folders. Control click (hold the control key and then click) on the album and delete the album. This will not delete the photos inside them. You can also rename the albums and folders as well. Sometimes, I combine albums too by dragging one over the other. There are a lot of options . . . but those are a few.
hey I'm wondering, can you upload a .mp4, .heic, .hevc files onto iphotos into album from a Mac? and will that file when you moved a specific file onto iPhotos, show up on my iPhone too? help me please
Hi there - You need to be sure your devices are all on the same iCloud account using the same Apple ID. Then you have to connect your devices by turning on the iCloud Photos option in both your Mac and your iPhone Photos settings. Also. . . iPhoto is a very old version on old Macs. If you are using iPhoto, then the photos won't sync. Hoping this helps. Cheers! Mollie
@@Pixologie thanks. Is there any newest latest version of iPhoto? I am asking you this because i currently have to move photos and videos to iphotos via file explorer on windows but instead, on mac i could just move both straight into albums and they’d sync:)
I'm sorry I missed replying to this. . . I'm not sure what you mean. iPhoto - the old photo management program from Apple on a Mac? That is gone for sure now. The lastest version of Photos is 9.0. Are you using a PC now? I'm just not sure how your workflow is going.

Mollie, I'm wondering how you made the Smart Folder for photos Not in Albums to start with. When I try to create one, the conditions I get does not include "not in album." Can you help?
