Just came back from vacationing the North Shore and was surprised how very few fisherman I saw using Superior. Looks like alot of fun. Tight lines everyone.

Have seen a bunch of your vids, enjoy them. I have one question. Why do you rarely put your rod hand on the fore grip? It there to give you leverage advantage over fish, physics and such. I guess I see it with low profile style musky reels but as a musky guide I still switch my rod hand to the fore grip when I can on fish, for leverage. Low profile one can still battle fish with decent leverage but on trolling, off shore tackle there isn't the leverage on holding around reel as your hand spreads out and more energy goes to holding the reel in hand than to hold rod position. I see this often with clients and the best way to show one the difference is to have one switch right in the middle of a fish battle. Best to practice the switch or proper hold on those smaller lakers, pike and musky for the obvious reason. Glad to see someone putting out a video about crossing lures over in different application than typical. So many forget that lakers are hard core predictor fish. Thanks for all the videos, I am catching laker fever after each one!

Thanks for the showing us how to jig for them 31 incher out of two Harbors yesterday first time out
@montanastrongremodelrenova1632
Its amazing how aggressive those grey sharks are in lake superior here out on flathead we regularly catch our 15lbers-30lbers on dead baits on the bottom they are fat sluggish Sobs... during the spawn or even the pre spawn action will have 100s of fish stacked up on semi deep humps and you cant buy a fish jigging they just go off the feed during both times which is bizarre.. yet when the whitefish are on the perch fry in july and august you can jig them up all day.

Wonder how this would work for king salmon at the mouths of rivers this fall 🤔

Its all about structure and location. You can place a 100 foot gill net in the wrong area and not catch a fish, let alone trying to get one to bite your fake hook - Find high percentage areas first and you will have better success.

Wondering about your jigging stroke, just jigging in place off bottom or jigging and then reeling up, jigging and then reeling up or what?

the elephant in the room is that balloon sized reel that you dont mention, just wondering thoughts of using a line counter trolling level wind reel like that?

Appreciate your videos But, I'm trying to understand why you Dont talk about your Reels (Brand and size} and yes you Do talk about your Rods . also when using the Bondys , why dont you tell the Size ?? the first fish were caught on the Smaller 6" 4.5oz, and one other thing is to tell about How you Know the Bondy is working "Well" that deep and that would be that you should be able to feel the Flapper blade on the Up stroke , if you Dont feel that "zing" then the Bondy may have fallen side ways and hooked itself and the jig will be laying Flat and hooked On itself
