i rarely comment but this video hit me different bcuz it was a boy in lead of showing braynt and trusting him on the area to fish.. much respect to you man.. that motivation
It's very nice seeing you meet with young generation fishermen! My father never fished with me, and it's nice to see someone with patience fish with young people.
Great video man, you probably made this kids year. I would dig seeing more vids like this, an awesome way to use your platform man. Keep up the good work
That’s you call “setting you up for success”. AJ is an awesome guy. Those Goliaths are a non keeper but it’s awesome to look at them. Thanks for this great video.
Truly enjoy watching you on your “land” adventures. Reminds me of being a kid, searching out fish, trying different spots and just enjoying the chase!! Keep up the good work. P.S. tried your remoulade sauce from a few posts ago....mine looked very different, it was reddish brown, yours was white. Still tasted really good!
I don't get to do a whole lot of fishing, but I feel like I get to do it a bunch vicariously through guys like you and Richard Gene, "The Fishing Machine." Thanks for bringing me along on your fishing adventures!
Now this is a great idea. You should have lots of opportunities from subscribers who live in this fantastic state. I'll be watching this series. lol can't believe you played the Bum loosing that Snooky. What time did you catch that first Snook today Brant?
Brant, you need to hook that lad up with some of your branded swag, he obviously is already a conservationist doing catch an release and our future. Loved the vid, old stomping grounds for me there.
ha, that's cool. Aj, had to be cool meeting Brant. Looks like you guys had a great time. If Brant hooks a Tarpon, Bama will never hear the end of it...
Those fish look like Australian Estuary Cod, which are delicious. Queensland Grouper are protected AF and it's illegal to target them but they often get caught as bycatch. Awesome to see you out with the young fella. Keep the great videos coming mate!
@@ajfishesswfl398 Nice job putting Brant on some good fish, Aj! Looking forward to more collaborations x you and him. If you can rope Beach Bum in on the deal I bet you'd have a guaranteed million seller. I've subscribed to your channel and wish you great success!
There are all too many guys out there with deeply flawed ideas of what it means to be a man. Drinking someone else under the table, being a “ladies man,” being a tough guy and getting into fights, etc. Spending time with a youngblood and encouraging their interest in a great hobby? Way to man up, Brant. Nothing but the utmost respect for what you did here. AJ’s at that age where you either start getting into trouble, or you have better things to do. Guys like you make a difference. Plus, it looked like a hell of a lot of fun.😉
Awesome video. Very cool place. You mentioned at the end of this video that it’s cool to just pull up to an area and experience fishing. I do that all the time. I stop at a creek on my way to work and fish for 10 or 15 minutes. I call it a fishing pitstop. Big time fun! Nothing like starting your morning with a nice Smallmouth slamming a topwater bait.
Whether you caught fish or not, it was truly special meeting up with AJ. That act could have positive actions in his decision making for years to come. Awsome job bro.
I just found your channel and glad I did. If you're up in Ozello (just south of Crystal River) area we have a 300 yard levy that crosses over the river giving fishermen 600 total yards of fishing. Target fish are mainly snook, trout, reds, and mangroves. I fish there an average 3 to 5 times a week.
Nice vintage Boston Whaler sitting there. That looked like a lot of fun! Except for the fact that it didn't look like there was so much as a little breeze blowing. I know it had to be hot
Great video and AJs very mature for his age. Glad you caught your first goliath grouper. You should a shoot on over to Tampa Florida and fish over here with my son. He also lives on the water with a dock and it also opens up to the bay on a seawall with giant jacks reds and snook. He’s also right by great executive hotels on the water and also a awesome seafood restaurant named Bahama breeze that’s right on the water with the dock. Check us out Brant he lives in a condominium and we got a grill for a barbecue after we’re done fishing LOL!
Brant, I'm a new subscriber. Love the channel. You're living my life. Actually, I started fishing again. I would like to see you fish with third rate equipment, old yard sale and flea market stuff. I think it would be interesting, entertaining and challenging to your skills. It would make for good videos.
If you’re gonna travel the whole state of Florida I totally recommend the vilano beach pier, it was one of my favorites and I lost a lot of big fish out there, it’s up by Saint Augustine, if you head that way definitely give it a try
