Price for the crane, price for your labor? If they don’t like the cost, move on..

@@evanmartin4107 just priced a 30ton for a job we are doing in a few weeks, $130 per hour my labor is $180 per hour for the crew (roughly), the tree would take 2 days without the crane, wont even be 4 hours with it 2600 bucks vs 4 hours of labor and crane fee, $1300 for the job vs $2600, faster, safer, more efficient, looks more legit the crane is the way to go on certain jobs

I don’t know why but this video is half as loud as every other video on youtube; using a bluetooth speaker while doing brakes on my powerstroke I can barely hear it across the shop when you’re talking during the intro.

I have been very fortunate to have super chill crane operators always, very easy to work with. I have had one pushy excavator operator. Anyone have any stories of having to shut down operations or approaches to deal with bad scenarios. Really wouldn’t be happy working under a bad tempered crane operator.

Oh man, I’ve had a couple such interactions… one crane operator in particular was such an asshole he gave me all sorts of hassle the first time we worked together because he didn’t want to wear the hard hat I had configured with our Bluetooth helmet comms…. Tried hard not to use that guy again
