Using Gene Regulatory Networks to Understand Sex Differences

Speaker Biography: Camila Lopes-Ramos is an Instructor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Fellow at the Channing Division of Network Medicine, Brigham & Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, Boston. Her research involves developing and applying genomics and systems biology methods to model gene regulation and understand sex differences in health, and disease. Dr. Lopes-Ramos has a PhD in Oncology from the AC Camargo Cancer Center in Brazil and postdoctoral fellowship in computational biology and network medicine from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard. She has worked extensively in the integration of omics data, and the application of network methods to a wide range of problems, including tissue- and sex-specific gene regulation.
