I might have just figured this one out. I’m on a Mac but this seems to fix it: hold down button #1 when plugging in the USB. It should hold red, then blink 3x on release. (In the manual it says to do this to activate MIDI standalone mode, but I guess it’s also necessary for generic audio/midi interface mode?)
Awesome! I will give this a try on the PC and see what happens. I will make a video and post the results when we get finished remodeling the studio. We will be off line here for about a month. When all else fails read the manual! LOL! Thank you for the information and thanks for watching! 🤘😆🤘
Nice video! I got a question. I saw the i rig stomp using a "keys combo" holding two buttons to tougle, for example, the tuner. Can i configure that "key combo" on a daw? Or in bias fx??
Thank you. I’m not sure if you can change the key combos. I still have not been able to get the iRig to work with my DAW.I have only been able to get the iRig to work with the iPad and with the stand alone version on the PC. I’m still not sure why it doesn’t work in my DAW. It doesn’t show up as an input in the Reason 10 software. I’m still working on a fix for that. Does it work with the foot switch in bias fx? Next step for me is to contact IK Multimedia. If I come up with a solution I will let you know.Thank you for the questions and comments. Thanks for watching! 🤘😁🤘
I agree. I’m not a big fan of it either. I could only get it to work in the stand alone desktop version. I love the AmpliTube software, but we could never get the iRig Stomp to work in our DAW in MIDI mode as a controller. It’s kind of pointless to have it if you can’t control the software.
