My objective was to recover files created using Microsoft Word 1.0 on a Macintosh machine in the late 1980's. These files were stored on stored on several 800k floppy disks written in MFS format. It was ultimately determined that the most economical way to recover the files was to use a Kryoflux.
Information on this topic can be hard to come by, so I will link to all the resources I used. If there is anything I have been unclear on, hopefully these resources will allow you to fill in the gaps. If you are still confused, feel free to reach out to me.
