If you have been just as confused as I have when it comes to your laser cutter/engraver and the pass through slot then you will want to watch this video.
I am going to walk you through how to use the pass through slot to an acrylic sheet that is larger than the machine bed.
I show you step by step, how to reposition your material and also how to set up the entire passthrough method in light burn.

Thank you. I just got my Polar (haven't even set it up yet LOL) and am already thinking about how I can do stuff that's "too big" for it as it is. Very clear tutorial, straight to the point without a lot of "unnecessary" story telling (I've tried to watch some others and the story telling was just too much).

Very cool video. Thanks for experimenting and showing how it all works with Lightburn. I would like to see some of the missing steps, such as how you lined up your registration marks and then burned the second set... as well as what you did to get rid of the registration marks at the end.

Thank you so much for this it TRULY helped! We have the exact SAME Omtech machine and I'm using light burn. I'm trying to make a wooden cutout sign but I'm having issues. It's 1/4 inch this blonde wood (I'm guessing plywood). I followed the omtech instructions that said 5% Speed & 37% Power but it didn't cut through. It just really charred the wood. What do you suggest I put my settings to? I'm getting so frustrated.

Hi great videso i just saw a few of them and subscribed to you. Have a question i have the omtech 100w and i been trying to engrave and cut and for some reason it's burning the acrylic even. Leaving burns marks all around it and not cutting thru. If you don't mind helping me on what's the best setting to cut the acrylic. I appreciate it and God bless

@@JamelaPayne i'm guessing, adding some LED lights on the edge(pointing towards the engraved area) so the light bounces on the engraved lines lighting them up. You can type "Acrylic engraved LED" here on YT to see some vids.
