Great instructional video! I am interested in how to prepare large drawing to be cut on large plywood sheet. It needs to be cut on X and Y axis. I only managed to find instruction on one axis. Actualy I would like to laser cut kayak parts from sheet of plywood with laser cutter that has working area of 600x600mm. I cannot grasp may head around this thing. If you do this kind of video, I am sure it will be the first on YT. 🙂
Thank you very much for your video! How do you manage to place your laser so precisely in the middle of the second cross? I've tried positioning my red pointer in the middle by pulsing it. My second cut is always off by 1 or 2 mm on one side or the other.
slow the speed of the laser head down and just keep moving the red dot until your right in the center of your cross, the closer you are the closer the design will be . Thank you
@@carphotography Did it with 1 mm accuracy. I'm right in the middle of the cross because the red dot is hides in the engraving. But still, when I do my second cut, it's always off.
Hi thanks for your pass through video I was able to cut some 4 ft circles I’m trying to cut a human figure now and did Edit Node and Break Apart and I cut the first half with no prob I can’t cut the other half now. It’s not previewing and the file doesn’t load on the controller It does say it’s crossing the edge of the machine What am I missing? I have Cut Selected Graphics selected
Thanks for the quick response I did I have them on different colors. :( I already successfully cut the bigger part of the figure I did the Print and Cut bit 3 a few times now to make sure I’m not missing anything
@@gandcwebb3700 try going upto laser tools and try auto align outputs or press ALT + 3. above where you see the frame symbol do you see (READY) Print and cut ?
So idk why it says it was starting from Absolute Coords so I changed it to user origin. The file got sent to the laser and it shows on the controller but now it says XY slop over Sorry for bothering you I’ll try Thunder support 🙈
the design just need splitting, I to insert a node and B to break a path, i did upgrade my mic now , if you click CC at the bottom it will add subtitles.
