Wow, leaving all the thin cuts on the magnetic carrier sheets is brilliant. Thanks for this very helpful hint. I used my magnetic cutting mat several months ago and when I got it out to use again, it is warped. Any idea on how to get this flat again? TIA.
You are a genius! Why did I not ever think to use the carrier sheet? Wow! I have the magnetic plate and haven’t used it yet! My friend used hers and it really warped. Any idea why?
I think it warps because of the pressure settings. I mean all of mine warp, no matter what setting I use (mainly because I want to cut once and go back and forth). Have her watch and try using the carrier sheets - I think she'll like it (as will you) :0)
Yes...the carrier sheet is one that comes with every CTMH Stamp Set that has coordinating dies. I'm not sure on the thickness of these compared to the ones you can purchase on Amazon and use for storing dies (I've never really had to do that since mine come with the carrier sheet). I have a love/hate relationship with the magnetic plate. It looks as those I have run it through too tight yet the images are not cut through.. I'll keep trying to find the best combo. I'm not a make but purchased this last year as soon as it was available. Is it the same one?
yes...this is the same one. If you use the settings I talk about and maybe consider using the magnetic carrier sheet that our Thin Cuts come on, it might help you with not cutting all the way through. Let me know if it works out for you :0)
