This video will illustrate many ways teachers can provide infants, particularly non-mobile infants, a variety of play and learning experiences with appropriate materials and furnishings throughout the course of the caregiving day.
I do not agree with putting 6 month and older children with newborn to 3 month infants. I've seen too many patients with injuries. 6 month mobile infants are much stronger, use toys as weapons, bite, kick, hit, and even smother the non mobile children. While these videos show a caregiver holding some of the infants, this is not reality most of the time.
