Thanks for this vid, Carlos. I noticed your 'expensive' protractor! - a simple tip is to buy a plasic cheapo, grind, or cut the baseline excess off, cut the 90* and hinge it (behind or in front, use a self-tapper on an added flap as a hinge), and it is very clear and accurate to read. Nice to see! Although I´m an engineer, I´m relatevely new in airplanes and after building my first indoor plane last weekend I have the problem the ailerons are moving more down than upwards. It should be on the other side. But it´s a design problem of the hinges since they are at the bottom of the wing and there´s only one servo. I´ll see if there´s a possibility for improvement.Thank you!
Thanks Carlos, I will try this on my 90inch wingspan Super Decathlon. Best explaination on how to get differential without programing it. My older 2.4G Futaba does not address this.
Thanks. Needed this to build a wing and wanted to use just a spliter for my ailerons so as to share the aux position of my receiver for a pan and tilt.
Excellent info Carlos. I'm starting to build my first scratch delta. I'm copying the 48 inch span design from sr71afan, but I will probably include his rudder too. (belt and braces, just to be on the safe side)
it is the same principle they use in the steering system of the car, ie Ackermann angle or deformable parallelogram. I have set up this way the ailerons on my phoenix 2000
