Using Psykers and Wyrd Powers in Necromunda- Necromundown Ep. 11 

Nice presentation as usual, keep it up ;) About Force weapons: I like 'Force upgrading' Chain glaives or paired weapons (like Delaque Serpent fangs) on Melee psychers. About Delaque acess to Psychers: keep in mind their 0-2 Brute is also a Wyrd by default and at creation can pay creds for additional powers; besides that, at creation you can upgrade the Leader and Champs to also be Wyrds and later spend XPs to gain new powers from the non-Delaque disciplines... In summation, Delaques can field gangs made-up entirely of Wyrds if they want. It is also ironic that a Chaos corrupted gang dedicated to Khorne may end up having the leader/champs become Psychers from the Chaos favor table (result 11-12 I believe) - Happened to my Khorne Goliaths, where my 5A leader became a Wyrd with Divination-Warp whispers (+1 to crew size in scenarios and once per battle 'Re-roll all die rolls') and a Force Chain glaive for maximum melee carnage. I have psychic powers IRL. I can give a man a nosebleed just by staring at him. Only the one specific person, my best friend in High School. I did it to him 2 or 3 times to check, then I swore to never use my powers for evil and had to knock it off.

House Delaque have a few more ways to get psychic powers. Leaders and champions can become psychic either by paying credits at creation or spending experience in play like a skill up. They also have a 0-2 hanger on that is a pretty powerful psycher and has the rule where they are part of your gang pool. Overall the main issue with Delaque and psykers is how long it takes to get them online. They have a lot of hangers-on that they want and a lot of xp that they need to earn. By the time you're even running a spyker and mind thrall you're already hitting reputation levels where the campaign is probably over.

There called wyrd powers due to first ed of necromunda only way to get a pysker was to hire a wyrd.

The old Necromunda rules had better psykers imo. Each psyker got a primary and a minor power, and each had a d66 table to roll on to randomly determine the powers. It was so much fun! The current edition could do with something similar I think.

Regarding Sanctioned Psykers: Besides a few named Dramatis Personae which you spoke about, Venator Hunt Leaders who become Psykers get to be Sanctioned! They're the only way to have an actual gang member that's Sanctioned without resorting to turning a Sanctioned Psyker into an Outcast Leader.
