This was the best calendar tutorial I've ever seen. In fact, I had no idea that the outlook calendar had so many features. I can't wait to start using it. I can barely keep up with work, exercise and my entrepreneurship responsibilities. Thank you Thank you.
Omg I have a presentation, and the calendar is one of the topics I have to bring up, so I’m here watching this video over and over again, so ideas can get lodged in my brain.
Very informative video! One question though: If your coworkers can see your calendar to see what days you are available to schedule appointments with you, does that mean your calendars and all the events within them are public where anyone can view them? Or is there some sort of permitted access granted to certain users?
Thank you so much how to use Outlook Calendar. I've been so much comfortable using Outlook app on my android phone. Super Easy using on the computer as well.
Thank you so much for this video. I appreciate your explanations on the video; you explain everything so very well. I definitely want to view your other videos.
Very helpful, BUT it is missing dealing with Time Zones. Do you have one already for scheduling in different Time Zones? Mine never work out as they should.
yeah, that was good. the best so far. just got 2016 version today. longtime office user, including onenote and ms mail & calender, but this my first time using outlook
Great post, thank you! Is there another video that shows how to set up calendar booking for Skype/ Teams? Meaning I open my calendar up for someone else to book an appointment on my set availability?
Thanks for a good video. However, Outlook Mail and Outlook Calendar are s-o-o visually UN-inviting that working with them seems more like doing chores than than employing an aid to make one's day flow more easily.
What I don't get is that this video was produced last year, but my outlook email does not look anything like the one in the film. That looks like the original version I had years and years ago. Which is way better than the awful thing I use on a daily basis at the moment. How do I get back to this version
Thank you for this very useful tutorial but I have a quastion ; at 6:15 mark in your video you say that I can set a reminder but is it a reminder that is sent to my e-mail or do I have to have my PC running at the moment that I seted my reminder and a pop-up will appear at the scheduled time ? Thank you
Hi Normand, if you have your calendars sync'd on your phone then a reminder will pop up on your phone. If you want it on your desktop you need to have the PC running. Reminders basically work when a calendar app is running only.
Hi! This is a really good material and now planning to share it at work but some parts won't apply as we are not in Microsoft Exchange. May I ask for your permission to trim the parts that don't apply?
hello this is a great video - you've explained everything so clearly. I was searching for outlook 2016 to study for an upcoming test and came across your page. This is just what I need, and I have subscribed. looking forward to seeing all this videos you have for studying more. Thank you
When I double click to add an appointment (like at 4:28) it drops to my tray instead of opening on my screen to add the information. It use to not do this. How can I fix it?
My teams calender invite is not shown in sent items. I have checked with OWA also. But it did not appear. I searched in entire email. But could not find it. Please help to resolve.
Can you please make a video (or explain) 1) how to easily synch your outlook calendar To your Android phone and 2) how to stop Google email notifications from arriving in your inbox - I have already gone to settings and shut everything off but they still keep coming - Why?
@@neudtewolde1701 Sort of. I found a brilliant guy who helped me, because the above video did not and because Mr Technology for Teachers and Students did not reply to my query. I was lucky to get help elsewhere. We had to make sure that the email (hotmail) was hooked up to my phone and on my phone. Also, my default email address was a google gmail address and that's why it was not transferring. So we had to create a new 'microsoft' address and make sure it was also ON the phone, in order to synch emails AND calendar. I hope that's a little bit helpful. Regarding the problem of Google email notifications, that was never solved unfortunately.
Why does mine looking NOTHING like this? Im using Windows 10 and just downloaded outlook ( or at least I have an icon on my desktop) I have NONE of the top buttons you show... dang....
this was good, but left out some important differences between appointments and meetings: meetings can be cancelled and a record of the meeting is still kept; with appointments you can only delete the appointment, thus losing all record of it...... :( as I use the calendar mostly for appointments with clients, I set them all up as appointments, not meetings, but for billing purposes I still need a record of cancellations.......
My calendar doesn't show the ribbon at the top that shows File, Home, Send/Receive etc. How do you get that to show. I want to delete some recurring events on my calendar.
