Good morning , I want to say thank you from my heart to you for your dedication To the students !! I am One of your students . I passed step 1 exam . On Wednesday I got the results I watched all your videos and everything you taught is on this exam. I cried because I finally understand medicine and biostats because of your passion for teaching ! I do know God is guiding you because you make an amazing contribution to this world ! I want to be like you I am taking step 2 ck in November and applying in December like you did !!

Lo! The Randy returneth! He doth bringeth knowledge. Rejoice, for he explaineth the concepts, removeth thine doubts and maketh them vanish! Another awesome video? "This is the way." You may need to add another light source in a particular angle/position in front of and/or above you to eliminate the hand shadows, it'll make what you write easier to read as you're writing it for those watching. Not like it's the end of the world but it's just one of those production value kinda things I picked up from my brother and his studio set up escapades, thought I'd pass that different kind of knowledge along.

Stillhere, Thank you for the comment and confidence... I'm not sure I have any "tricks" for the anatomy... It's such a strict memorization, other than how they could ask it. I remember they gave me a cross-section of the thigh that looked like Pepperoni Pizza and asked which muscle it was...

iNcidence has a "N" in it... so it's the number of "NEW" cases Prevalence is just the OVERALL number...

Great explanation I have seen so many questions on this concept for sure! The other SUPER High Yield and easily mistakable topic is the Shocks! The cardiogenic, septic, distributive shocks especially! There is not a single exam that I did not see 1 or 2 of those

Avid, Great question. We are all motivated different and how we handle stress. I like to "embrace" the anxiety, fear, uncertainty... It reminds me that "this unknown" is important... It's a motivator. When you get "to the other side" of this anxiety... you'll look back and smile at the "anxiety" and realize that the feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment only has it's meaning due to that uncertainty. It hurts because it means something to you. Let that motivate you. Too many things are given to us these days without us having to put in any effort... getting through the STEP exams is NOT one of those things... It MUST be earned.
