A Reminder - If You Join an Indian medical college in or after 2024, you might not be able to give USMLE. However if you join before 2024 you need to get ecfmg certified asap and you can write usmle even after 2024.
Yeah please do make a video on it bro, I believe it's a vital piece of information that requires a brief discussion ,by the way the video was as usually awesome and above the mark.
Hi Manik, I'm 3rd year medical student from India, greatly appreciate your in-depth videos, and thanks for that , these are super helpful Kudos to you🤗🤗🤗 Can you make a video covering the aspects other than the exam for getting into residency? (like research, CV, etc, and also things we can do during medical schools for it.) cause your videos are very relatable.
Hi Dr Manik , I just wanted to know if usmle scores are needed for applying for observership positions. I've cleared IELTS which is a documentation of my proficiency in English.
So, Basically NEET PG is much superior to the USMLE. NEET gives you what you asked for, USMLE takes away your money and it depends on your sources in the medical academia if you match, as even after getting good score you won't get a seat.
The videos u provide are awesome..but can u please make a video on following topics:- 1.Which is the most suitable time for attempting step 1, step2ck,etc? 2.When should we plan for electives? 3.What if we didn't manage to get the programs we applied for?
Usmle is a much more superior exam than neet pg not only neet pg but also other exam like plab, MCCQE in all aspects, the thing which made usmle superior "globally recognized license"
I failed two subjects in first year and was not allowed to write ophthal and ent during third year due to less attendance, does this affect my usmle residency chances ??
Sir, please explain us the current situation about the ECFMG policy 2024 as nothing is clear about it at this point of time and nobody is talking about it. I am currently waiting for the counseling to commence and our medical college are going to start in 2022. Does this mean I won't be able to write usmle exams? Or I just need to register/apply before 2024 and can even write the exams if my college looses the accreditation in any case? Please throw some light on this topic. This is my humble request.
Brother I am currently preparing for neet ug 2022.i planned to do usmle after my mbbs.but will it be impossible for me?then do I need to study really hard and apply for ecfmg certification before my 2 year completion,I.e.,before 2024?will it be possible?what shall I do?can I get ecfmg certification before qualifying usmle step 1 and 2?
@@titly1175 hey, same I am also NEET UG 2022 aspirant, so firstly it's compulsory to crack NEET in 2022 itself and then can we fill form 186 in our first year of MBBS???
@@titly1175 but,my doubt is isn't it that 2 years of MBBS are required to fill form 186??if I am wrong then please correct, it will be really a great help 🙏🏻🙏🏻pleasee🙏🏻
Good video. Thank you. Could you please do a video about the best resources to learn surgery, psychiatry, obstetrics & gynecology, dermatology, cardiology, ........That is, what is the gold standard for each of these fields.
I have completed my internship at 2021 and I haven't prepared for usmle during my mbbs. Now I want to start preparation for USMLE and planning to give exam in 2022...Is it late for it??
If i want to give usmle after completion of surgical residency.. i graduated in 2016 along with 1 yr intership in 2017. Now i will complete my ms in 2022. can i hve a chance to match?
I think you got the residency duration wrong. In India for super specialities like neurosurgery again you have to give another exam and then hustle 3 years more
Hi dr manik Can u make a vedio how to find safe accomodation for img girls during electives if we dont have any family or friemds in USA ...? Important factors for img girls like me after getting electives .....plz answer this as your answer will help me a lot....
Anna there are no Indian medical colleges wfme recognised at present. I’m currently waiting for the counselling sessions to start. I’m very much interested in preparing for USMLE, but all these policies and procedures are so confusing. Can you say if there is any individual body whom we can contact for all these formalities for info, or we have to check these on our own on the official websites. Btw your videos are pitch perfect bro👊🏻😊 keep rocking✌🏻from AP.
Hi, I would like to start by saying I love your videos they have given a good insight into USMLE. Could you let me know how you prepared for neet while simultaneously preparing for usmle in detail? Thank you! ^_^
Ur every effort of video highly commendable by its content. Thk u Dr.Manik. After MBBS If I do MD at USA without taking the licencing exam Do I eligible to have job opportunities in Clinical Research area. What are the other opportunities after MBBS to get study and job opportunities in medical field (without USMLE).
If you are an unreserved category candidate in india and trying in govt medical colleges then you will take much more time than usmle...so less number of seats for MD and such high percentage of reservations in our country...I know many unreserved category candidates giving neet pg exam for 4 to 5 times atleast
Hi Manik sir, thank you for videos, your dedication to help medicos is marvelous.I would like to know how are in the liSt of achievers of logiquest.I mean did you join that, please reply
I am going to college 2022 so by 2024 I will be in second yr does that mean I can’t apply for usmle since the changes are coming Manik bro pls reply I am depressed altogether
Why not introduced this type of screening test for indian politicians before nominated the MLA and MP seats in respective States as likes students screening test.also MLAs and MPs are getting salary from sources of public revenues.&we people are certainly think that politicians are getting maximum advantages due to wrong constitutional policies of india since independence till now.so the common indians are suffering now & degradation national infrastructure as compared to internationaly.
Sir..will you upload any video regarding..which courses are best in which us medical schools..also..how many seats are there for each course and matching percentage of these for an IMG? .THANK you sir
Please please please make a Vedio on how to start the process for it , if we are in 1st year of med school and keep on making further vedios for what to do next. One more ques how did you managed all these processes from step 1 till your match process with electives , I mean all by your own researching from internet or took help from certain usmle based organisations not for coaching but for rest of things. Please please reply……
I'm giving my class 12th board exams this time. I hope I must reach to you one day. This year I'll clear neet UG and After completing my mbbs I'll be with you soon. I must grab it. Now ready to study for neet UG.
Hi bro.. hearty congratulations for ur massive scores🥳🥳can u please make a video Regarding how to build a cv and ways to get good volunteer experience 🙂🙂
What are you talking about? NEXT/ NEET pg students must know the names of scientists and their history, lab procedures, and great emphasis on knowledge from every corner. NEXT is a competitive exam all over India whereas USMLE is not (Whoever scores high gets a place). STEP 1 is strategy based, mostly they test basic concepts with Language and longer STEM (that's the only one-pony trick they have got). So, NEET tests on a lot more in-depth knowledge. USMLE tests on Exam-taking strategy >> Knowledge.
Sir can u inform me one thing.i am neet ug 2022 aspirant. I want to do usmle after mbbs.i fall under ews category. If i take admission in govt medical college I mbbs under this category, will it anyhow affect my usmle profile in future?in case I want to take student loan after mbbs for usmle, will the ews category be issue at that time?will the ews category be reflected in my mbbs degree for my lifetime?I will be very grateful to u sir if u kindly clear my doubt. After watching the current scenario of the doctors in india, usmle has become my main target after my neet
I wanna try usmle from the start of mbbs (I haven't cleared Neet yet 🙄) so how can I prepare for this during college life for 5 yrs?? Seems very tough 😕
Sir thank you for the detailed information. Can you share us the material or sources which helped you to prepare specifically for USMLE because my planning is the same I'll prepare for USMLE and neet (next) will go along..
I read it somewhere that next is required to give usmle , is it true ? Bcoz we start giving usmle steps from second year but next will take place in the final year so do we have to wait for giving next to start giving the usmle exams
Sir, I am Class 10th student in India and I aspire to continue my medical education from the US. But as you described in your previous comment on the video that Indian Medical students can't give USMLE if they don't have ECFMG certificate before 2024, then how I and aspirants like me can achieve our Goals? In 2025 I will give NEET UG First attempt so it's obvious I can't have ECFMG certificate before it. Is there any way to still get settled in the US and Continue the Medical Residency from there itself? Otherwise this will become such a pain :(
Most students are not clear about next exam it is made even easier than neet pg.. It will be a 3day exam and even subjects are divided unlike neet pg...
What would be your advice for a guy who is done with his ug, pg in anaesthesia and post md diploma in critical care from India, who is kinda upset with the work condition here in India and wants to do usmle now at the age of 32?
Sir when exactly u started prep for step 1 and when u gave step 1. When did u do US Clinicals and then When did u start to prep for Step 2 and when did u give Step 2? Here we have 4.5 years + 1 yr internship + 1 year rural service bond in karnataka! What's the timeline? Please sir!
You must be born smart or intelligent bcoz without coaching very few people get such a rank in neet pg dats an achievement of course but what about the average students who have pursued mbbs from private medical College and struggling for neet pg ...can they crack gud scores in usmle?
You are only average if you think so. I was from a private college but never defined myself as average. Just believe you are extraordinary and you will manner it
